Celtic tried to re-map my Ocy vRS a few years ago and failed. They said it was something to do with the REVO trial remap that I had on it a few months previously. They had two attempts but still couldn't do it. In the end I went to Awesome GTI and they re-mapped it with the APR re-map with no problem.

It does get a little dusty while stood in the garage. Even more shocking is I might have to put some petrol in it.
-
:P I may even clean it.

Remap... why can't I bring myself to do it?
Smifffy 3 f's replied to lordrobs's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk I (1996-2004)
I hated the powerflex dog bone mount and I've put the standard one back in. Too much noise and vibration in normal driving for me. I may just put it back in if I do another track day though. On the re-map if your not sure don't do it. But if you do decide to have it done go somewhere local. That's one of the main reasons I went to Awesome for mine. (and Sarah makes a good brew ) -

I still ache. I think I must be getting too old for all this. I don't think I'll tell our Phil about it text time and give us all a chance. Trouble is on the journey down he actually said that he was going to win. Nobody loves a smart ars.:P -

In the mean time I'm trying to source one of those Burberry cap things just so that I look the part. __________________ -

Smifffy 3 f's replied to pigfarmer99's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk I (1996-2004)
Signed it for all the difference it will make. Perhaps we should all go out and buy one of these 1998 RANGE ROVER P38 4.6 HSE IN GREEN on eBay, also, Land Rover Range Rover, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 15-Mar-08 13:21:39 GMT) and only pay £200 road tax. I only do about 4000 miles a year in mine, and beginning to wonder whether it's worth it. -

Well Jay, there's a first time for everything. I might just get the Octy out of hibernation and come down. -
It's 3 years on Dec 20th since I had to make the decision to put our eldest dog to sleep. She was 15 & 8 months old and it broke my heart. So sorry to hear that you've had to go through the same as me, but be content in the fact that you made the right decision and she did not suffer. Also the fact that you gave her a good home for her 14 years. You're in our thoughts.

I did the National circuit back in August and really enjoyed it. We were warned that with the tarmac being new it was a bit slippy, so treat it as if it was damp. I found it not too bad though. It was quite easy on the tyres as well. The best piece of advice I can give you is to get some tuition if its available. After my session with the instructor I was a lot more confident and had a much better idea of the lines to take. It's a nice wide track so there's a bit of room for error. The pictures of the day are here. Customer Folder Mine is the black Octy and the yellow Fabia is my sons. You'll have a great time and I only wish I was coming with you.

Oh well, I've never been very observant.
