Hello there Random and strange things started happening when I'm streaming music through the Bluetooth system. I'll start from beginning I have 2012 Occy vRS with the Columbus SatNav unit and when I got it I have an iPhone 4s. All was fine it connected to car received calls and dialled fine and streamed music superbly. I had the sat nav voice over already setup but I couldn't get it to quieten the music down when she talked which was pointless so I gave up and turned it off. I upgraded to a 5c in April and all has been fine until recently. I tried to have the sat nav voice over come on and I couldn't get it to quieten the music (after extensive trial and error and playing with it while out for a drive) so I gave up. I put all settings back to how they were and it was fine. Other week the music streaming would all of a sudden go quiet like a text is coming through and not go back loud once the text ringtone had finished. I would either get whoever is in the car to text my phone so it would reset itself or I would pull over and have to do it. Turning to radio then back or turning unit off then back on doesn't work. It can get real annoying as you can imagine. Anyone had this problem at all? And any fixes?

I take it back sidelights don't work with DRL's

I could be wrong but I have the option of disabling my DRL's and this allows me to turn sidelights on. I'm sure they work with DRL's on?

Is that for reg plate and side lights? Cheers for the info

Hello all I'm after a bit of advice here. I'm looking at putting some LED bulbs into my 2012 vRS on the reg plate, interior and sidelights and I got warned by my friend it might throw an error report up as it did on his polo for his reg plate I think he said My questions are 1) Is there any ones you can fit in that don't throw an error code up (and if so any links to them) 2) If they do throw an error report what is the way round it? By far best colour is Rallye Green and the 19's is a must IMO :-) but they all look sweet

Not bad MPG pal I manage to get 52MPG on my airport run other week. Do you think it wants to change up to 5th rather quickly after 30mph lol

Hi all I finally picked my Octavia up over weekend and seen as I have the memory card slot I'd like to use it but the problem I have is I have some albums I want to stay as an album. When I copied them into the card and but some singles in the album songs don't appear at all in the folders yet the ones I put in loose do. Anyone had this problem?

Hi pal I'm just browsing interest here. Looking at the MDI loom with AUX in. Do you need the AUX in socket?

Aftervanother test drive and bit of haggling, I've the car pick it up Friday cannot wait Just a few questions: -How do I tell if I have a Maxi Dot trip computer? I think I do but not sure. -Is it hard to fit a USB lead into the car or MDI lead. It comes with the Columbas Sat Nav system so don't wanna loose that. -Is the CD player that comes with the car a single CD player or is it a multi disc player?

This one comes with the Columbas sat nav system. What's the difference between the two systems? Thanks for all the tips I'm still trawling through all the posts some very nice Octavias here

Ok cheers people. It's a facelift one I'm looking at more like hawk eye style than the rectangular lights. I'm looking at either new or ex demo car at mo unless I see another one that's right. How can you turn the ESP system off? Is there a switch located on the centre console area?

Hi all, I'm looking at buying an Octavia vRS TDI DSG however I'm just asking is there anything I need to look out for when driving. Are there any common faults on them? And also it comes with say nav, is that any good? I'm gonna try the car out for a day so I'm going to try the sat nav system out but wanna know from people who have it.

just cleaned the swift and waxed her. inside isnt the best however near enough looking forward to meeting you guys soon
