looking at the Skoda web site. What/why has the price of the L K Octy gone up. What do you get for your money. Anybody know???

Hi all. I now have a Fabia vrs which I am most happy with. But something tells me I need DSG (the voices) Not available in Fabia so I will have to buy an Octy but which one ?? I need some performance and want to stay diesel!! All help most welcome...R:)

I currently have a Fabia Vrs which I realy like.. But I have an urge for a DSG box with a diesel engine.. It will have to be an Octy but which one for the performance??? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. R:)

As posted before I got a tow bar and electrics from my local Skoda dealer for my Vrs.. Std Fabia bar kit and also std electrics kit about £140 Fitted no bother and NO visible mutilation of body work.. :thumbup: R

I'll sign. Bought and fitted one before knowing of this issue.. I was supplied by local dealer (Skoda) as well.. R

If it is illegal then why was I supplied with a tow bar and electrics by my local Skoda dealer... When fitted I took it round to them to have it photographed by the stores guy.. They had not fitted one and wanted to know if all was ok!! HOW strange. Its also an option in Ireland from new or retrofit..It makes a fantastic tow car with a 6X4 box trailler dont know its there.. R

My ideal.. VRS estate 150/60 bhp 2ltr diesel with 4wheel drive and the superb two clutch dsg box.. NOW that would be something ,, Go on you know you could make us one!!!! R

Not sealed units. Think they got a lamp/bulb thats why the water come in. Need to remove unit and dry out,or the silvering may stain. Not look good!! Thanks for help advice. R

Hi. How do you remove Vrs front fog lights???? Mine have water in them after yesterdays submarine excersises!! Need to take them out and dry them for fear of lens silvering going bad. TA R

Do you need longer bolts to fit the Seat top strut brace. My thinking is with the mounting plate/brkt,if you are using std bolts/screws the threaded part will be less as you have to go through the plate first. Guessing brkt must be 5/6mm thick. Are the screws/bolts long enought to be ok??? R :confused:

You should be able to tow as much weight as all the normal Fabias. Only much easier with all that TORQUE and the brakes are better than normal ones.. You may be able to find out the exact figures from someone in Ireland,as th VRS is able to tow and tow bar is listed as an official option there.. I have one on mine std Fabia saloon and the std wirring loom for fabia total cost from local dealer

I am 55 with a red vRS... Loads a laughs.. PS Leave me alone I am an old man with a Skoda..R (thats what I say)

Nasty horible green things with shaky rattly blades wizzing round... Better of with a Skoda. R

What size and make of tyre do you have fitted. R
