  1. Right this should get your thinking caps going. Right i'm having problems with my car. i'm having a intermittent misfire. when it happens i'm normally doing 50-60mph uphill. sometime its fine and sometimes it'll lose slight power, juddering, and can hear a cluster of clicking noises for a few seconds, if not the engine light come on. i had new spark plugs which cylinder 3 didn't last a year and was in a bad condition and stopped sparking. coil packs are all brand new as well a month later i broke down as misfire cylinder 3 came up but managed to get home after turning the car off and on. took it to the garage and they replaced the spark plug (free of charge) they said see how that goes and bring it back if it continues and we try something different. unfortunately when they do the test drive to get it to do its thing sadly the girl behaves. few days after the it had that spark plug changed. i started the car up and the engine light came on. i plugged in my code reader to get p0351 - powertrain ignition coil A (primary/Secondary circuit). took it back to garage and the bloody light when off. the looked at it and said light didn't come on when we had it but she drives perfectly and they were confused as if that fault was coming up it should be mis firing. they said it could be the ecu but weren't sure. any advice would really help. Cheers
  2. Hi, I brought a OBD II adapter and the Torque Pro App. Gave it ago the other day, did a test and it come up with lots of mombo jumbo stuff. i had a few Pass and Fails. I'm still trying to work the app and understand it but not having much luck with this. Could anyone kindly give any advice about my results? 3. Since my last service from a Skoda garage (which Skoda have taken the franchise away from now) me and many people have had bad experiances from them. But its turns out that the sparks plus were lose and one of the coil pack had failed. Both problems had been sorted and hopefully no more leaks. Thanks for your comments tho!

  5. I have a slight problem with my Fabia. Basically i have a oil leak coming somewhere from my engine. i've looked around and it appears to be coming from my spark plugs. i have included some pictures to show you. but when i'm trying to drive up a steep hill from 2nd gear, as soon as i hit the 4000 revs it starts to lack power. i have been told that it could be my rocker cover but my haynes manual doesn't have my engine in the book so i'm unsure how to do it. could anyone tell me if it is my rocker cover thats the problem and if so how hard is it to do and what i have to do. thanks
  6. Really? ok cheers guys. i'll look into this and let you know the outcome of it.
  7. Ah ok cheers. Is that a quick and easy job to do?
  8. Hi. I have a oil leak somewhere and I'm not sure where's it's coming from. But there's oil round the spark plugs and over the front of the engine. If I'm going up a steep hill and hit 4000 revs it starts to lack power. Could anyone shed se light on what my problem is? Many thanks
