Hi all I have a problem with the front wipers on my MK1 RS, they do not switch off, when the stalk is set all the way down (for off) they keep going - I can also hear the relay at this point 'clicking'. The best I can do is have them on intermittent wipe on the longest setting. I was just going to purchase a new relay (I believe it is #377) but thought I'd check to see if others agreed or had any other suggestions? Car has done 161k Thanks in advance. Phill

Update: It appears this problem only occurs when travelling at speed (i.e motorway driving). Not doing it around town/lower speeds. Thoughts? TIA

Hi all My coolant is dissapearing daily after driving!!!! It has not over-heated once and the temp guage stays in the middle when the car is warm. Having to top up each morning. What/where should I be checking? TIA Phil

cancel that, just went back out and tried it again - its not coming out cold at all now... :/ The econ on and auto on trick worked once! Not sure if the clutch is spinning (don't know wat I am looking for) can anyone mark it on a pic? Ta

Right i followed FOZ1's advice - clicked ECON on and off a few times then put it back on Auto and it got nice and cold! However not sure what I am looking at under the bonnet?? I guess this is not a permanent fix?

Hi all, I have had my AC recharged/serviced (Kwik-fit). Drove away and blowing warm air through. Took it back a couple of weeks later (today) and they recharged it again. The machine they use reports no leaks and the system was still charged. Both fans at the front of the car are running when the A/C is on, I also notice that the revs go slightly higher as expected. So everything appears to be functioning. However still no nice cold air? Is there any checks I can do myself? Where is the best place to take it for something like this? I am based in Newbury Berks (where there happens to be a Skoda dealer) reluctant to take it there though if I am honest. Thanks in advance Phil
