Hello All i have orderda grill for my car and i have been asked what model mine is, now i have told him its a 2001 octavia 1 VRS but he tells me "There were two octavias mk1. Pre lift and facelift model. I have same grill for both cars but mounting points are diferent" Can anybody tell me how i can findout what mine is. Thanks Chris

Hello peeps Im new to the site as i bought a 2001 octy vrs in red a week ago and all i can say is i love it. (its better than my old ST24 by far) Anyway to the point, i was having a look at verious parts of the site and i found the well hidden search button at the bottom of the screen, so i thought i would see how many people in MILTON KEYNES are on the site and i stumbled accross a thread called Milton Keynes Mega Meet & RR. Vw Golf Air Con pump on eBay, also, Volkswagen, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 04-Jul-08 12:19:01 BST) Hello peeps I got a red 51 plate Octavia VRS from the auctions last week and i have discovered that the aircon pump is missing, i have searched high and low for a used one but nobody has one for sale, however i have found this on e-bay (check out the link above) and i was hoping that someone here could tell me what model of VW Golf or Audi has the same engine because they only supply these makes and from reading threads on here i understand that engines used on the Skoda Octavia are the same in some Golfs, Audi's and Seats. Any help would be great Thanks Chris

Thanks for ya help. My girlfriend is covered by the AA and to my surprise it is the person that is coverd and not the car so i have got her to call them and they are coming around in 15mins. Thanks again for your help Chris
