  1. Could go for something like Zaino for low maintence. But if you enjoy waxing your car then a good one would last you 3 months plus i.e. FK1000P or a DoDo wax?
  2. I would just like to thank Ross for his advice and the service yesterday. From now on i will being using Ross for all my servicing and any other work (hope you dont mind Ross?).
  3. Ive got Carlack 68 shampoo, P21S shampoo and CG Citus Wash n Gloss. Ive use Megs NXT and Gold Class. I would say my personal favourite is the Carlack 68, goes a long way and is very slick.
  4. I looking to try Duragloss 901, ive heard really good things about it. Great lubrication, ooo er miss's
  5. Thats why i stated to rinse well. But i would never put virosol near my car or my wheels its ph is 11.4 nearly the same of ammonia! Everybody has different ways of doing things that why there are so many products out there. I use aldi APC its £5 for 5lts's its ph balanced, it keeps me happy.
  6. Beading does not really represent anything please see here
  7. You could try this Meguiars APC or this CG Heavy Degreaser
  8. I would say it wil get rid of 95% of it but get it completely free of any product the those products above will work. But like i said before washing up liquid will strip wax, just one wash.
  9. Try a product called "Menzerna Top Inspection" or try a 1:1 solution of isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and distilled water that will do it
  10. One wash with fiary liquid will do the trick, but rinse well!! and dont repeatedly wash with fairy liquid is not good for the paint.
  11. If you frequent on Detailing World then is a mix of Snow foam with Chemical Guys Maxi suds, a few people use it. I cant remember the ratio off the top of my head. Thats suppose to be nice thick foam which clings the body work for long time. If you have a pump sprayer then with a mix of CG Citruswash and water 10/1 will make a good thick gel like pre wash soak which can be sprayed on the lower body panels to help removed thick crud.
  12. If your going to be doing it by hand then IMO Klasses All in One first then Klasses sealant. The AIO will help remove any transportation wax residue before you apply the sealant. Very easy to use. As said in above post's i wouldnt let the dealer wash your car for you.
  13. Snow foam or other makes are there for a pre wash stage. To get rid of the larger debris before you get your 2 buckets out and wash your car. It just reduces the risk of inducing more damage to the paint work Try mixing a little with you favourite shampoo see what you think. Alot of people mix Snow foam with a little of other products. Once You have got your car up to a good standard with a few coats of wax/sealant the you will find that sometimes your car might only need a good Snow foaming and a rinse.
  14. You might wanna tray a "Quick Clay" kit from halfauds. Use the Clay bar on the tuff spots and this should remove them.
  15. The Menzerna range are very good for the ceramic clear coats. Just remember to always start with the least abrassive polish with the lightest of cutting pads first and then work your way down from there with the compounds.
