  1. It's not carpet, just some foam 'thingy' ... I have the same problem with mine ... keep falling off if the passenger kicks it. I put it back in place every there and then.
  2. From the Owners Manual. Driving abroad Read and observe on page 64 first. https://ws.skoda-auto.com/OwnersManualService/Data/en/Kodiaq_NS/10-2016/Manual/Kodiaq/A_SUV_Kodiaq_OwnersManual.pdf When driving in countries with opposing traffic system (traffic on the left/right), your headlights may dazzle oncoming traffic. Therefore, it is necessary to have the headlights adapted by a specialist garage. The headlights with LED lamps can by adjusted by enabling the travel mode in the Infotainment in the menu CAR →  → Light. In this mode, no automatic beam adjustment is made ahead of the vehicle.
  3. If you have the Active finish, it looks like it doesn't have the Adaptive Frontlight System which would be used with the Travel mode function. ( I'm open to correction ... )
  4. Don't know if this user is on here but check out https://www.kodiaqforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=831
  5. Skoda Ire aren't doing a great job with the launch .. Having the options showing €0 isn't great . Talking to my dealer, he said that a few customers walked away after being told that all the free extras they had seen on the web weren't free
  6. Went to my local dealer in Dublin on Friday and took the 2.0 TDI 4x4 manual for a quick spin. Lovely car and really enjoyed the (short) ride. Handed well and was quiet. The model I tried was the Style trim with additional Style Pack ( which includes Pano Roof , electric boot and tablet holders in the back ) I'm currently on my 3rd Octy and the Kodiaq didn't feel that different. Driving position is obviously higher but it didn't feel like driving a tank. I was well impressed by all the onboard technology ( must say the Infotainement system looks great with the 8 inch screen ). I'm actually considering ordering one once the finance details get sorted. I'm not a alcantara fan so would be looking at full leather upgrade and the style pack. Having owned a Dark grey Octy, that would be an easy pick for the Kodiaq but I must say the Lava blue looks good ( in theory as I've only seen it on the Superb they had in the show room - it looked dark due to lack of direct sunlight , but I'm think it would look great with beige interior )
  7. I was at local dealer last week and was told that final pricing was expected early march and that they would have a test car available mid march. Looking forward to testing it
  8. Hi, I've got a VrS CR DSG and absolutely love it I used to have a 1.9 PD DSG : the CR engine is extremly quiet compared to the PD Can't compare with the VrS PD as I only did a few miles in a demo model [ but I do remember the kick up the A...E that I don't get on the CR ] My 2 cents Vic
  9. Thanks for this thread but I even more confused now ... My new VrS headlights are on all the time [ as soon as I start the car, a bit like on volvos ] , even if I put the light selector to Off. Has this anything to do with the autolight ? Might have a word with the dealer
  10. Scary :-) Great job Glad I got this option out of the factory ...
  11. Thanks for all the replies. Finally got my hand on a bottle of Mobil 1 ESP Formula 5W-30 Looks like it easier to buy a sausage roll than oil in Irish stations ...

  13. Morning, I was asking my dealer which oil they recommend for my car as want to buy a 1l bottle to top up when needed. [ only 500km on the clock .. ] They recommend Castrol Just wondering if anybody recommended a specific reference Thanks Vic
