  1. Original accessory partnumber - DMA410002. Price approx. $40 We can do it other way: frame 6Y0 867 489 - $10 net 6Y0 867 689 - $15 21 self-tapping screw (check with frame which size you need) fix the net by hooks on backside of the frame and pull the rubber band (included with the net) through the holes as shown on photo... and fix the frame with screws. you may want to use 3 mm drill bit prior screws Now you got one more place to crowd with unneded stuff! And what's most important, the frame comes with the bag hook.
  2. I did my doors 2 times each and no clip broken ever
  3. The aircon condenser is thinner and is in front; The coolant radiator is thicker and is second one. If you look through fans cover, you see coolant radiator
  4. I drained about 1,5 liters and that was enough, just a few drops leaked remember to squeeze a thick pipe goin' to radiator several times to remove air after topping the system, only then close the expansion tank!
  5. The proposed P/N for 9n POLO is 6Q0 423 155AE for TRW steering box and 6Q0 423 155AH for KOYO which are the same as for Fabia
  6. Pretty easy, done this during 30 minutes in night The gasket is about 2 pounds (converting from Russian Rubles ) And its almost impossible to overtighten the nuts because the spacers underneath them are rubber The main thing is to ensure there is no oil on the surfaces, otherwise it will start leak again in that places.
  7. its pretty easy to check the droplinks, just turn wheels right/left and rock the link with your hand; if you feel ANY looseness the link is surely dead usually the lower joint becomes dead first while the upper is OK it takes 20-30 minutes to replace both and you need only 16 mm wrench and some torx 25 or 30 (dont remember) torn bushes usually produce very annoying squeak
  8. I've got one like this on my Fabia, it was common for early ones the standard for today is 12-point 36 mm nut
  9. Depending on engine code ATD = 038 253 014 A or 038 253 010 S or 54399880017 (KKK) AXR = 038 253 010 B ASZ = 038 253 010 T BLT = 038 253 010 But I guess they are all the same
  10. well, maybe that depends on the country
  11. You need only VIN code to order a new key In Russia it's RUR 2500 (£60) If the code tag is lost, the dealer sends a request to Skoda to obtain the immobilizer login it's 900 RUR (£20)
  12. A small hint: if you have G12+ coolant, you may easily find the leak with UV lamp. G12+ has UV fluorescent dye added, very useful
  13. It's series resistor dead, p/n 6Q0959263
  14. There are 2 types of power steering pump, one for TRW steering box and the other one for KOYO brand. TRW numbers are: 6Q0423156Q (vin last digits < 6Y-3-830 644) 6Q0423155AB (vin between 6Y-3-830 645 and 6Y-4-929 644) 6Q0423155AE (vin after 6Y-4-929 645) KOYO numbers are 6Q0423156R (vin < 6Y-4-929 644) 6Q0423156AA or 6Q0423155AD (vin after 6Y-4-929 645) You may distinguish between TRW and KOYO by looking at the angle turn sensor, TRW box has a flat sensor and KOYO has a round one. But I guess the best way to find the part number is to get under the car, unmount the engine shield and to look at the pump Good luck Eugene
  15. Don't overfill the tank too often, or the ventilation might go wrong...
  16. Done by hand, dont worry Absolutely impossible, you wont be able to secure the front screw because it's hidden between the body of the box and its front panel. Dont worry, i've done it in 20 minutes
  17. Check for faulty coolant temp sensor, this may result in floating revs
  18. Thanks alot! Nope, Im native Russian Keep in mind, You need 10-mm SPLINE (12-point), not THORX (6-point) to unscrew those 4 bolts. VERY hard to unscrew, they are secured with loctite
  19. needed: 1. BOX 2. Thorx screwdriver 3. 12-point SPLINE 10 mm (may be difficult to find) to unscrew the seat 4. 2 thorxes (dont know exact measuring, ask the dealer for bolts that will suit to fix this box) Steps: 1. unscrew 4 splines fixing the seat to the floor 2. remove the seat from the car 3. unscrew 1 thorx fixing the front covering under the seat 4. remove the covering 5. fit the box in place 6. screw back the thorx you did in pt.3 7. screw 2 more thorxes fixing the back part of the BOX. You will see the the holes for them already drilled in the seat frame. Check the box is firmly secured, or you will have to put the seat out later 8. put the seat back in place and tighten 4 splines fixing it to the floor.
