Great thread! Gives you lots of ideas alright. That last blue one from Sweden with the Mirror type wheels has a nice little roof level spoiler on the rear-where would you find one of those?

Yep-it's a hatch. 23K miles. Air con,dual zone climate control,jumbo pack,cruise control,not sure of everything else-i was just examining the power! I'll leave the luxuries to the missus! Very happy with it though-wicked power. I don't plan doing anything out of the ordinary to it-maybe a rear window tint and a set of those snazzy vRS seat inserts that were in the 'group buys' section. Just a couple of pics off the dealers site-ill take some better ones when i get it in my own hands on Friday.

Believe me if i was getting a new one i would be getting it in white. They look awesome in white! My budget doesn't just stretch that far enough to a new one unfortunately but i am the proud new owner of a 2007 VRS TDi in diamond silver. Picking it up next week-it's gonna be a long week!Thanks for the replies

I don't think so either! I'm still just worried about fuel economy. I do clock up the miles (my current MKI Octy is a '04 with 125K!!:eek:) but i'm just so tempted by the vRS! I'll take a test drive this week anyway and see? Yeah-like having 170 bhp after only having 90 for the last 4 years is gonna put me off

Hi all, I'm new to the site and asked in the say hello section if anyone drove a vRS TDi!? What a numpty i am!-i didnt realise how big the membership was! Anyhoo...after having a good read through the site my arm is twisted and i'm off to view a '07 MkII Octy vRS TDi next week which i will more than likely take away with me One thing i couldn't see here was whats the main difference between the CR engine and the PD170? I resume mine will be a PD? Also anything else i should be looking out for when inspecting the car? (23K mile MKII PD170) Thanks in advance:thumbup:

Hello people I live in Ireland and found this forum because i'm considering buying a '07 Octavia TDi vRS. Does anyone here drive one? I was just wondering what sort of a motor they were? They look awesome on paper 170 bhp and buckets of torque! Whats the fuel economy like on them? I currently own a '04 Octavia 1.9 TDi (Ambiente) with a full vRS kit (which is for sale BTW if anyones interested?) Looking forward to lots of posting Enda.
