  1. I thought so! Hi Corinne! Sure I still have you on facebook. Is Phil all OK too?
  2. I'm still about but not active. Slow numberplate is now on a BMW 335D as my fabia is undergoing a 18T conversion and is currently off the road and back on its y plate.
  3. Sorry no front bumpers. Do have a yellow rear one though. Silver rear one soon (front one already reserved off that car and not even started breaking it yet)
  4. Order doesn't matter when doing 1 by 1 as other 9 bolts hold everything down when doing each bolt. Just remember which are done and which aren't.
  5. 1. andsoutham - BMW m235i / Mk1 Fabia vRS 2. Newport91 - Octavia Vrs 3. Devonutopia - BMW 335D most likely
  6. Will depend on your car, and what brakes it has as to how small a wheel you can fit. Obviously increasing sidewall size will assist in comfort.
  7. When I break a stock vehicle (all working, some wear & tear etc) it's usually about £1,500 in the end. Obviously this isn't taking in to account the time and effort to bare bones strip a whole car. Fully working I think this car is worth up to £3k, but it would need to have good details of what was fixed, full MOT, etc etc. That interior is lovely!
  8. Yeah - not taken any myself yet. That was from the seller's pictures.
  9. 351bhp so it shifts Full leather so not too worried about having seat covers. Not Xdrive no - No I Drive either so fairly straight forward in most respects.
  10. Not sure how many bloody Mary's I need to resolve this sin! Bought myself a 2006 BMW 335D last night - already DPF sorted and mapped to 351bhp. The Fabia is going nowhere though. It may end up being made into a track only car. We shall see. The BMW is capable of towing 1.8 tons so there's options there. The 335D is M Sport trim but as a Cat C write off, the whole rear end is newer so looks quite good compared to the 2006 oem look. Will need some sorting out but for now it drives good, good power, and I am really enjoying it Pics to follow.
  11. Normally don't all "extra little jobs" get put on BR tax code so no NIC etc paid, and just a basic rate of tax deducted on the whole salary?
  12. Coolant temp sender is on the rad hose coming up right side of the engine. Fuel one is on the fuel line. They probably are the same part in essence.
  13. Well latest update is car goes back to Dervytechy just before Xmas, and it will get a brand new head, fully machined to replicate current one, then fitted with all the parts from my old head, and race studs used instead of stretch bolts. And whilst its there, why not have a bigger turbo.... Ordered Darkside's GTD2872VRK turbo on black Friday. Should just bolt up in place of my current one.
  14. Another incredibly rare update from me... Car back from that derv place we cannot mention - official figures 350 off NOS and 403 (point 5! ) bhp on NOS. The only trouble now is because I thought I'd get away with PD150 bolts, I am suffering with bad headlift on full power - losing water and serious overheating on a long pull. So likely going to look into a brand new head and get all bits moved across, including the necessary machining. Oh well. It's bloody quick though!
  15. If you can send me details on facebook sometime be great - just so I'm not in same scenario myself.
  16. Mr Charlie sir, I will need a bit of a refresh again in regards to brake discs for D2 soon
  17. Yep, still aiming to come even if I didn't put my own name down.
  18. Yeah, weather was awesome. And both my cars got back to Devon fine thanks. Drove there in one, home in two LOL
  19. I'm aiming for about 9am arrival. I'm likely to bring my 6 metre x 3 metre gazebo. Be good to air it as not been used for a while. Also see what needs replacing on it....
  20. As per facebook - no worries The weather is looking pretty cracking. Pretty sure there is room on the stand still, but at this late stage you need to get a "car + driver" pass for K1 from Maria at the circuit. Might be able to get left on the gate with your reg number as the reference.
  21. Tickets all posted now. In reality only 12 envelopes as 1 keeping for myself, and 2 tickets in 1 envelope for one pair.
  22. Tickets all received, will be sent out tomorrow, more likely Monday, to everyone. Plenty of time before the event.
