  1. The new Scout was not available in May -14, made my own solution, +15 mm rough road package and +17 mm with 215/60-16.
  2. Rough road package, Dotz 7x16 w. 215/60-16, 20 mm spacers front, 30 mm rear
  3. Rough road package, Dotz 7x16 w. 215/60-16, 20 mm spacers front, 30 mm rear

  5. 2:nd impression of the clutch... I'm much more positive to the flywheel swap today! The noicy clutch combo is not too noicy, you can adapt your senses to accept the mechanical rattle The smoothness is far away from the DMF, but 1500+ rpm while engaging the clutch seems to be the way to go (poor gearbox and diff) The best entertainment; let a friend try the car, what a show! Looks like an absolutely beginner with manual trans My next step is to wipe out the check engine light & glow light... they are very, very yellow on the dash. Both the VAG and the Vagcom error code is pointing to the EGT sensor, but it's something else in reality, a new sensor doesn't help at all... new ECU is the solution according to the dealer (sorry for infecting this tread with engine management problems)
  6. Monday = The new Sachs SMF/Clutch kit mounted... First impression; Stock feeling in the clutch pedal Extremely noicy Need some practice to make the drive smooth *************************************** You can feel that the engine is hooked up to a gearbox now, it's more like driving a 1970 Dodge Challenger with nervous camshaft and manual gearbox on low RPM. If you are afraid of loosing the smooth feeling of the VAG 6-speed transmission; never replace the DMF with a SMF. The only thing to make this conversion even more wicked is to go for a sinter clutch w/o torsion springs... But I have already blown up a DMF on a Volvo; I will go for the SMF now
  7. Will replace the DMF on my vRS TDI 2007 next Monday... The new flywheel/clutch kit is made by ZF Sachs; P/N 883089 000034 This is a complete kit with solid flywheel and organic clutch, just the releaser is missing Have done this DMF to SMF conversion on a Volvo V70 2.5T including the Sachs clutch, no problem except for a very heavy clutch pedal... The clutch designed for the 2.0 TDI will survive up to 530Nm of torque:thumbup: I will report more later, good news and eventually bad news Bye from Sweden 0294001_EB883089000034.pdf
  8. 0-100 kph with my stock vRS Tdi PD170 estate = 8.39 after a few test runs 0-100 kph with Bluefin added to the car = 8.20 at the first try; 7.55 as "top score" after a lot of testing (Hard to control the wheel spin on first gear) But the best thing is the power for overtaking at higher speeds
  9. Hi The used Octavia vRS Tdi -07 estate got into my life 2 weeks ago, I'm waiting for a few parts to show up next week; 20 mm H&R DRA spacer pair for the rear axle and a Bluefin... Time will tell if it's a mistake or not. Have tried to "over boost" a petrol turbo with bad results; 4 of 5 connecting rods was bend and flywheel incl clutch totally damaged (Volvo V70 2.5T) The vRS is blue with stock 18", Sound system, rails, trailer hitch, etc... It's more fun to drive compared to our Audi A3 Tdi e-POWER but the big issue is to drive the Skoda as efficient as the A3, seems to be impossible
