  1. Even with the ABS controller disconnected there are no diagnostics comming out the diagnostic socket. I have checked that there is 12V available at the diagnostic socket which led me to assume the total lack of response could not be a fuse problem. Is this a correct assumption? Does anyone know where the next place the CAN BUS on the diagnostic socket goes too? I've read in a transalated manual that there may be a connector where all the CAN bus connections are gatherred. Does anyone know where on a Fabia this is located?
  2. I have 2 problems 1) ABS light is continuously on 2) Niether of a couple of garages I've tried can get any diagnostic information at all. My ECU is a BOSCH 038 906 012 GD My ABS controller is a 600 814 117E Using a continuity checker I have found that the K-Line on pin 7 of the diagnostic socket is connected to pin 16 of the ECU socket and it registers 0.48Volts when the ignition key is turned. I can find any pins on the ECU socket that connect to the CAN high (pin6) or CAN low (pin 14) or SGND (pin5) on the diagnostic connector.. Could anyone please tell me what pins the on the ECU the CAN high/low on the diagnostic connector are meant to connect too? Does the diagnostic reader make any use of the K-Line? Am I missing a SGND connection?
