As we have passed CW25, a new map update is available to download for some - at least for my Columbus. This is labelled as ECE 2021/2022, valid since CW 45_2021 ( This of course should say CW 25_2021 ) Download is HIGH12_P192_EU_202125.zip

You need to download the file from the Skoda or alternative portal, and then unzip/extract the downloaded file to a blank SD card of minimum size 32Gb, formatted with Fat32. Insert the SD card into the SD slot in the car. Go to the settings menu then system, and it should automatically offer to do the software update - this will take about 55 minutes

Apart from the VW portal as MartiniB posted, the update may now be available once you input your VIN on the Skoda Update Portal Shown as:- ECE 2020/2021 Valid since CW25 2020

Quick Note to say that ECE 2020 now active on Skoda Update Portal - at least for my VIN.

Mine has a small hole in the exhaust which lets condensate out - I guess others have this but may not have noticed if car is standing outside.

Latest Map Update After checking my VIN daily, the update portal is now showing - for me at least- the latest update ECE 2019/2020

Does anybody know how to check or change the bulb in the hatch closing button?

Where is 2017/2018 download - I also can only see the ECE 2017 from last year.

I went through the same scenario with my dealer. Dealer said they could not select 'leather' and 'ventilated seats' on their configurator. After dealer lengthy phone call to Skoda UK, it transpires that you only need to select 'ventilated seats' and it assumes leather, provided that the level spec of the car - eg sel Exec - already comes with leather seats. You can specify 'ventilated seats' and 'Alcantara' if that is what you want. The option configurator is not obvious on some points - you may need to get the dealer to click on " + " icon beside some options as this opens an additional note - dealer didn't seem to be aware of this at the time.

At last Skoda have updated the page with Navigation Data update for Columbus. There is now ECE 2017 available to download. ( http://updateportal.skoda-auto.com ) Hmmmm.. Just tried to download got 404 error - file not found. Perhaps the link is there but the file is not yet ready. Will try again later.

Well, the record for the longest wait is one none of really want to achieve. Been advised today that the car has now reached the UK port - so only another two weeks hopefully................. will I beat the 6 months marker of 23 March.

+ 1 for Ridgeway Skoda Oxford. Initial salesman only responded when prompted, but a change of salesman brought a change of customer service. Updates every 2 weeks, and now weekly now car is finally built last week.

Update 22nd February - Car Built !! - Status 38
