I have been enjoying my Leaf, Richard. I'm only on 28,000 miles. Never run out of electrons. Love it. Love the way it drives. So much more fun than my previous vehicles. Shame it doesn't do off-roading though.

Been away for a long time from here. Didn't realise this was on the road! Brilliant. Keep up the great work Richard.

I have been out of the loop for the last few months. This Yeti vRS is amazing Richard. Bonkers even. I look forward to seeing it one day.

I am now officially Freelander less. -
With all the chargers around, you can do way more than 100 miles at a time, just need a break to recharge to 80% in 30 mins. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thinking about it, will probably be a 7kw fast charger. That's what Chargemaster fitted in my local Asda. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Time for a snooze. My return trip in the rain sleet & snow started at 22:30 and I arrived home just after 04:00. That included 3 charges. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I got back from a 375 mile round trip to Nottingham. I used rapid chargers 7 times to get the range. Cost of journey. £2 approx for the initial charge from home. The car handles surprisingly well in rain sleet and snow, but that weather does rather hammer the range. So far no range anxiety. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I have had to sort a few things out like thermostat, heater matrix, injectors, wheel bearing, track rod ends, front driveshafts and a few other bits and pieces. So no, not an endless money pit. Not now it is sorted anyway!!! Its a good little runner. It is also shorter than my Leaf. Here is the new addition to my family: -

Running costs. Virtually nil for the Leaf compared to the Freelander. I've not started to sell the Freelander yet. It will be with me until April before I think about selling it. Holiday in North Wales and no chargers around [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I am now selling this as I have bought a Nissan Leaf. No it won't go off road. But it will be very cheap to run. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

You just turn it on or off when moving if you think you might need it. From memory (18 months is a long time!) it just slows the car down hill in DNR or RN123 to about 5mph, changes throttle input below 30mph, allows you to lock the brakes a bit and a few other things that a skilled 4x4 driver does anyway (Llanigraham). Well.... A few months later and I have made up my mind I am getting a Leaf. Thank you Richard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I suspect a Nissan Leaf will do that now..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks Brijo I have only praise for Skoda's first SUV. It was an awesome little car. Greater than the sum of its parts. Much underrated because of the Skoda badge. My reasons for moving on are well documented. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had one but sold it a long time ago. I never used it. Prefer to carry muddy bicycles behind the car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I rarely visit now. Having sold my Yeti 18 months ago. My freedom membership is due to lapse soon as well. This section of Briskoda lost its appeal a long time ago for me. Many of the early adopters have moved on for what ever reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
