  1. I refuse to use KwikFit ever since one of their fine members of staff stole money out of my car. I had popped in for tyres, went to a cafe virtually opposite watched the car being done... came back as soon as the car was put outside to find they had swiped the money in the ashtray. I had only put the cash there as I was driving when the wife gave me it. Thieving ****s...
  2. Just a friendly warning for those who use the M6, M56, M60 & M62. Manchester Police are using an 11 plate silver A4 saloon as an unmarked traffic car... they also have a couple of black S3's, not sure if they're on traffic duties though. Cheshire Constabulary have a black BMW 5 series doing the same...
  3. Thank you all... It's more of a welcome back as I joined in 2005 & only dropped off the radar in 2009...
  4. As former a lover of the vRS Octy's... I walked away from Skoda when I bought the latest version of my first love, the relaunched VW Scirocco. I always had a inkling I'd buy a Skud again... therefore I have got the wifey a spanking vRS Octy diesel estate in Anthracite grey. I still have the 'Rocco, but may get myself a Superb estate... very nice car! Decisions, decisions....
  5. Thanks for the positives on the new Skoda Coupe test vehicle... For whatever reason the colour doesn't replicate very well on the PC (tho it does look like Skoda's old green).
  6. Desertion... I love Skoda as a brand, I've had an Octavia 1 & Octavia 2, both vRS's & loved them both. I however have had my head turned by my first love. I always loved my first proper car. It was an immaculate VW Scirocco in Arctic White. When it died I promised I'd only replace it properly with a re-incarnated 'Rocco. And thus... My new 'Rocco was delivered today. A vivacious Viper Green 2.0tsi GT with DSG & all the ******** apart from pratnav. I have only driven 20miles in it & by f@ck is it nice... To all Skoda addicts...I apologise. There was just too much temptation!:hbomb:
  7. Got all 50 in 30 minutes.... Now I've written them down i'll do it again in 2!!
  8. Try this....something to do your head in over Chrimbo. M&M'S® Dark Chocolate
  9. Father & his 13year old son are in Asda, the lad asks "Dad, why do condoms come in different size boxes?". Dad replies "3 pack is for 6th form lads, 1 for friday, 1 for saturday & 1 for sunday...6 pack is for lads at University, 2 for friday, 2 for satuday & 2 for sunday....12 pack is for Married Men, 1 for January. 1 for february......."
  10. When I had my mark 1 vRS Octy I had the 2nd gear selection problem... I took the car to Benfield, they gave me a date for getting the car back. This date kept getting extended & they let me keep the fabia courtesy car I was loaned. I eventually got the Octy back 10 days late. They kept blaming "parts not available"... When I got the car back I noticed the exhaust tailpipe was at a strange angle, the mechanic blamed the fact it was removed to access the gearbox. Fair enough. I did go to the Dealers a while later & watched one of the Nissan mechanics (who share the site) crash into two other cars as the site is very, very tight... the service desk rang the damaged cars owners & claimed "parts not available" whilst they sent the said cars to a bodyshop.... This makes me think they may have bumped my car too.... I looked under my Octy & the exhaust had been broken, a sleeve put over the break in the pipe & it was held on with heavy duty hose clips. I also discussed selling my Octy with the vRS "expert". He offered me £3.5k less than the book price. I kept the car for 2 more years & still got over £1500 more than the to**er offered me. Would I use Benfield's again? Not an effing chance....
  11. Just had my 1st service done as I said I would in a previous post. I rang up at very short notice as I was heading back up to Newcastle for the weekend. Malcolm (the owner) answered the phone, he bent over backwards & fitted me in for first thing on the monday as I requested... Got there, service was sorted in around 2 hours & the lads rang me to as soon as it was done to stop me being bored wandering around Darlington town centre. Picked the car up, got a in depth verbal all clear off the sevice desk & the overall cost was a lot cheaper than any other Dealer I rang. Some of the Manchester/Cheshire dealers were over a £100 more. (I was also given a copy of the mechanics service checklist). All I can say is "thanks" to MSB & especially Malcolm. I'll definitely use them again & it's a 240 mile round trip for me. Nuff said....
  12. I dislike celery... does that mean I'm a potential racist to all you English MoFo's out there? Jeez....we're more f#cked up than a homosexual couples kids...
  13. Gotta disagree... xBox live is a great invention. It keeps kids off the streets, lets them get fat & die early... thus helping the Government with funding. Though McFlurry's should be delivered to said kids to speed up this process... just like fattening a cow.
  14. Similar thing happened to me... I challenged the guy who was black & I wanted to break his face. If I had he would've had me done for a racist attack. FFS I employ black people from a very dodgy area of Manchester, pay them very, very well(over double the minimum wage) & they all like me as a person & a Boss. I would've still been branded as a racist... that's where this country is sh@t.
  15. All I can say is "bugger them...."
