So I took the car out for an hour or so and, well I don't like it. This wasn't a 'power' test like some of you we're assuming. It was about noise. The car still pulled well. Always has. Had it 5 years now and give it pain daily and engine has not missed a beat. So far. So as far as a power decrease is concerned, if it does drop, it's not noticeable. The amplified sound of the diverter valve is pretty cool but I don't like the intake sound so on goes the standard box tomorrow. Along with the removal of my briskoda sticker as once again, the attitude and arrogance of most of you on here has superseded itself again. Goodbye ladies

Hi guys, don't post on here very often but just fitted an S2000 air filter to my mk1 vRS. Just onto the maf for now with a reducer. If I like it etc i'll think about getting a proper cold air pipe and sitting the filter behind the bumper. Will post back with a verdict.

Fluids First of all we need to set the record straight. I don't like computers, and they don't like me. Also I don't have time for trawling through pages and pages of threads that are totally irrelevant to what I'm looking for, so, if you don't want to help, DON'T, and if your main concern is the welfare of virtual kittens then go take a running jump. Preferably under a bus or something similar. I apologise to those of you who are willing to help it's just that I'm getting really sick of some of the pathetic people and their childish responses that I've had to deal with on here in the past. This is the last chance for someone on this site to help me out. So here goes, 1. How much oil does my octavia 1 vRS hold in the sump? It needs changing 2. How much coolant/water does it hold and what is the mix ratio? It needs changing. 3. Is ATE super blue racing brake fluid ok to use? Thank you!

Sounds similar to the problem I had a few months ago. Mostly when going over speed humps though. Changed the bushes with no result, the dealer said I needed a new arb and creaking disapeered. About £180 it think from Skoda Bolton but was covered by warranty. Hope this helps

Anyone going? Gonna have a ride down and check it out. Normally go to BTCC at Oulton but fancied a change.
