  1. Hi Sarah, yep i fitted the 28mm rarb from yourselves. complete transformation! i would go to say it will out handle most things on the road including GTI'S etc I had a MK1 VRS Octavia which would have struggled through the twisty's compared to it
  2. Ah yes, i live in Huddersfield also! the Subaru is AET'S demo car dont really get any interest for Holset units going on cars, too big really for most applications unless you have something special! mainly running KO4 hybrids/IHI or GT28/30's on 1.8t's
  3. Hi there, not much difference between them, they all work using the same principle. a nozzle ring inside the turbine housing that is controlled by the wastegate actuator. one is no better than the other!
  4. Hi there, yes definately VNT nozzle ring sticking, common problem. i am in the turbo business so know this well. AET Turbos can offer a full repair service for very reasonable money check them out on the web or give them a ring.
  5. Yep not many either in Yorkshire, not the Scout anyway get alot of people gawping at it, probably not knowing what it is! also shock a few people with the pace & handling of it now, now it is modded a bit!
  6. yep ive got exactly the same rattle on the passenger door card, if you press it it stops! have you found out what it is yet?
  7. Got them off ebay, good quality aluminium to keep the weight down! they are Spanish i think BC Corona Innovate. nice quality and come with the extended studs to suit. i got 25mm ones but i machined them down to suit the Roomy exactly. so that the tyres were just slightly inboard of the arches. they look stupid if they stick out too far! they are the proper hubcentric type, wouldnt use the normal ones. there are various ones on ebay but these were the cheapest when you start including studs in there aswell. there are some 20mm ones on there at the moment item no 230288737515 or just type skoda wheel spacers in, should come up with a few.
  8. Hi there, yes i have also done this mod using the 28mm bar using softest setting it is quite remarkable the transformation in the handling ability. it works fine in the wet also with no nasty suprises! i have also put hub spacers on too, 22mm on the front, 16mm on the rear. this just makes the tyres just slightly inboard of the wheel arches, looks much better and helps the handling side also. also have fitted a PSI Digi tuning box which gives impressive gains right thro the rev range. i also ditched the standard horn for a Stebel Nautilus ultra compact. fits in the existing place easily. now have a horn that can be heard!! think i will go with the Eibachs next then will think of something else to improve!!
  9. Hi to all members, just joined today! used to run a Mk1 Octavia VRS with a few mods done now bought a new Roomster Scout 1.9tdi, already modding it!
  10. Hi there, just joined up today, have a Roomster Scout tdi 105 with regards to the eibach springs, what is the ride quality like now on our great British roads! do they crash and bang over the bumps? or is the refinement still kept to a degree? your feedback would be much appreciated. can you get a lower spring on the standard struts? H & R do a 40mm drop. There is a fair wheelarch gap on mine as i have the 16" wheels on as opposed to your 17"
