  1. pain in the arse to try and keep clean god knows how many stains i've got on mine and i'm always gutted everytime i make a new one. Although the pure smiles per gallon more than make up for this slight inconvience. She's in the gargae until the end of the week i think ill treat her to good clean inside and out when she's home
  2. I bought her from Bath skoda and i haven't messed with her since i bought her about 16 months ago. The dealership didnt say anything about it being fettled with and looking at her history it looks pretty standard. The garage has quoted me 120 for labour which doesn't sound to bad to me, plus 380 (inc vat) for the turbo, Im just having trouble trying to find out if ts a KKK or a garrett turbo hopefully she'll be back on the road by Friday

I'm from Merthyr and well up for a furby meet (when she's back on the road turbo's blown at the mo :'( ) Theres a few fabia rs' around merthyr and i'd love to have a little meet on day/night
  4. Sorry, that's 330 quid+vat just for the turbo, not including the garage charges. My old man know's his way around an engine so i'm not quite sure to get the turbo sorted through the gargage or let my father try and sort it out :S
  5. That puts the bejesus into me i, that's including a 12 month warranty and its a reconditioned one if i havn't already mentioned
  6. My Vrs went into limp mode on the way home on Sunday night, and today my local garage has told me that i need a new turbo! I'm gutted not only has the car broke down, but i'm having trouble getting quotes and prices. The only one so far is £330 plus my broken turbo in exchange for a reconditioned turbo with a gurantee. Is this good or bad does anyone know? Any help would much appreciated as I am completed sc^wed without my car Thanks in advance
  7. Eyvind Brynildsen will be driving his latest spec fabia s2000 on the cambrian rally on the 17th of october. He will be using the event as a shakedown for Rally GB. Also confirmed are Ford WRT and Mikko Hirvonen, Mads Ostberg in the latest scooby WRC plus several other WRC regulars. The event will also include the BTRDA regulars such as Damien Cole, Steve Perez and Andy Burton in his fantastic Peugeot Cosworth. The event also has a cracking Historic entry.

  12. I bought my 55 plate vrs fabia from this dealer about three months ago and was very disappointed with the service recieved.I wont say the salesman's name but let just say he was the youngest one there. The first saturday i went there i seen the car and decided to have it. A 500 quid deposit was required and i agreed. I was a mile up the road and realised i hadnt paid, i went back only for him to thank me for saving him a *******ing of his boss. It was also agreed that the wing mirrors would be resrayed as there were deep scratches on both. The week after when i picked the car up they looked fine. The next day after going for a drive, the paint had started to peel off both as there had ben no laqour applied. The salesman also agreed to send me a touch up pen to hide the marks which were supposed to have been done anyway. I also think the car is leaking coolant as it seems to be really low, and there are strange puddles anywhere after the car has been parked on a slope. They also sold it to me with only 6 days mot meaning i was driving around for two months illegally. They didnt notify me that it was up. I'd personally recommend the Newport dealer, and Ryan in particular is very helpful. Apart from these problems, I am absolutely delighted with the car, 50mpg+ and also very quick!
  13. Im 21 with 0ncb paying 1100 on my fabia vrs, worth every single penny!!
