I have a 2001 octavia which i got serviced by my girlfriends dad. I was wondering does anyone know how i can reset the service indicator on it or do i need to take it to a dealer?

I need to fit new anti roll far bushes to my 2001 skoda Octavia SDI but have been told there are three different sizes 19mm, 21mm and 23mm. Does anyone know how i find out what size i need. Thanks

As far as i am aware this is the first change i have only owned the car since september and am changing cause of the miles on the car. -
Hey I have a 2001 Skoda Octavia 1.9sdi. The car has 64000 miles and i want to get the timing belt changed on it. Some people have told me i do not need the whole kit, I just need to put a belt onto it. Does anyone have any advice to give me on this matter.

I have just bought a 2001 Octavia and when I am accelerating it is all good but when i take my foot off the throtle I am getting a whining noise, but when i put my foot onto the clutch the noise goes away, When I bought the car i was told that they had put a new clutch into the car and damaged the thrust/release bearing but think it could be the gear box after speaking to a few people, has anyone any ides if this would be correct and also if i need a new gearbox were would be the best place to get a re-conditioned one.
