Hi All Car year is 2000, bought in 2007 with 45K on the clock, just passed 99K this week. Regularly serviced by independent specialist. Pulling away gently on the flat is no problem. With passengers/loaded, pulling away up hill or with the slightest hint of enthusiasm and it judders like its going to break something. Once rolling, only symptom is a generous amount of transmission backlash. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi All First post here. Have spent a couple of hours searching but not seen this one elsewhere. Fabia Comfort 2001 1.9TDI. Has taken to unlocking itself and winding down both electric windows all on its own. Not good in today's monsoons with a car which has to live on the street. This is behaving exactly like the convenience feature but randomly without pressing either button on the key. When unlocking the central locking from the key button, all is fine until I open the door - then both electric windows wind down. Pulled the fuses on tailgate lock, central locking and both windows to stop the car being looted. Suspected rogue signals from key, so pulled the battery from the key and tried the spare. Put fuses back in for central locking and drivers side window. Left the car locked for an hour, checking it every five minutes. Stayed locked (and red LED on drivers door flashing). Opened central locking from the key button but when I opened the door, the window wound down. Closed window on the button and pulled the fuse. Is the convenience ECU stuffed? Could someone with vagcom shed any light? What can I do next? Thanks in advance.
