  1. Purchased from the site below for just over £90 http://www.cover-zone.com/voyager-car-covers.htm Full cover for indoor or outdoor use, has mirror pockets and was bought specifically for the Octy. I've never even taken it out of its storage bag never mind put it on the car. Yours for £30 plus £5 postage.
  2. I would but it's fairly heavy so I'm anticipating that postage charges may offset much of my discount. If you're interested I'll do it for £20 inc postage. The part number is 8J0-711-046-E on the box although the shifter itself still has what I believe to be an old number of 8J0-711-051-E embossed on it. Let me know your thoughts. Cheers Rich
  3. Still available and what's more i'll even throw in a brand new, still in box, Audi TTS short shifter (worth £28) for free!!
  4. Still in the box from Awesome, including all fitting instructions. Bought it during the Awesome sale for £220 but have now decided to change my car. I think the full price was about £270. Full details are in the link below. Looking for £150 inc postage. If you would like photos just let me have your e-mail address and I will send some across. Feel free to PM any queries. Thanks Rich http://aprtuned.co.uk/products/intake_carbonio_20tsi.php
  5. As the time has come that I no longer need 4 seats and a big boot I'm getting a Z4 coupe. I will still always be an advocate of Skoda (and Shark) though.
  6. Thanks guys that's exactly what I needed to know, I'll give you a call tomorrow to see if I can get it booked in during the week. I assume it's a pretty quick job?
  7. My days of Skoda ownership are shortly to end. I'm picking up a new car next weekend and will be trading in my FL Vrs at the same time so I need to return it to standard which means removing my stage 1 Shark remap. Am I correct in thinking that any Skoda dealer can flash it back to standard quickly and easily? I don't have an STS.
  8. The only mod I have at the moment on my 2010 FL tsi is a Shark stage 1 remap. I was all set to get a new exhaust and air intake and go to stage 2 but I'm having second thoughts. Are the gains over stage 1 really worth the cost (£1200ish) and will I be forking out for a new clutch before long? I'm now starting to think that I should just fit the air intake that I have already bought in preparation for stage 2 and think about handling instead - Wietec springs and shocks would be around £600. Choices, choices! What do members think: stage 2 or handling improvements?
  9. OK, I have previously criticised Bamfords for being totally uninterested in customer service but now they have become Blade I thought I would give them another chance. I can however confirm that nothing had changed. I'm having problems with my Bolero unit and since I was passing I called in to ask about having it investigated under warranty. I explained that it was an intermittent fault and was told in no uncertain terms that unless it showed up as a fault code no warranty claim could be considered, even if the technician could watch the unit turning itself on and off with his own eyes. He said that if they replaced the unit without a fault code they would be charged the £1000 and his manager would not be happy. It was all about him and his manager, I as a customer didn't appear an important factor in this at all. Truly awful customer experience, essentially told, we can see there's a fault but we're not prepared to do anything about it. I then phoned Winners in Cinderford who sold the car and had a very polite and friendly service guy tell me that this was a load of rubbish and that of course a claim could be made where a fault is able to be confirmed by the technician whether through diagnostics or visual inspection, the car was booked in for a check over in the same call and an appointment arranged at my convenience. I urge anybody in Gloucestershire to steer well clear of Blade and make the trip to Winners, not only are they genuinely helpful they are also considerably cheaper.
  10. You can, it's just a small bulge in the down pipe. As you would expect I suppose it looks like a mini-cat. The exhaust guy warned me about the new regs and whilst he said he didn't expect it to be too much of a problem he couldn't guarantee it and advised to keep the old system handy just in case it needed to be swapped back for an MOT.
  11. My understanding is that this is a visual check and if the cat has been removed the car will fail irrespective of the emissions test. The uncertainty seems to be around the removal of a pre-cat, does this fall within the new role or not?
