  1. This doesn't keep me awake at night, but... If the tailgate electrics fail (or some other fault), can it still be closed manually? Or do I have to employ a security guard to watch over the car until I can get a transporter to bring it to a garage?
  2. Hello all, After my 16yr old Octavia Estate met a unwarranted sad end at the hands of a hit and run driver (while parked outside my house), I've now moved on to a considerably newer Superb MY17 Estate. It's a much nicer looking thing dressed in Jungle green with the executive trim set of toys. As me, it's new second owner, I'm keen to keep it on the road for as long as possible. And keep paintwork sparkling and the toys working. Spent £40 so far on two plastic buckets, grid guards, sponges and, er, yeah - it's something I rarely did on the last car, will see how far I will keep on with that! So I'm back a long break from Briskoda. I'm an non-executive IT engineer, mad on tinkering with electronics, programming and enjoying driving.
