  1. Hi all I have a 2015 model superb elegance FL, I’m having problems with the drivers side xenon headlight. The bulb went a few months ago and as you know bumper off job to replace was done at a garage. After a few hours of fitting and it was working when I left the garage I went to start the car at night and the bulb did not turn on so took it back to garage and replaced bulb as they thought the new bulb was dodgy but the next day same thing happened so then we decided to replace the ballast module and same thing happened. All other lights work including the DRL only the main xenon beam will not work, the headlight has no sign of water ingress no cracks or issues looks brand new also just had wiring loom checked from car it’s fine. Now my question is does the FL xenon headlight require any sort of coding to work when replacing bulb or ballast module or could this be component protection issue or afs module causing errors any help before I buy a replacement headlight. have read out of codes attached
  2. Hi have a diagnostic read out from car regarding front drivers side headlight, have read this could be afs module causing lots of errors, I’m stuck now either I take the punt and buy a replacement xenon headlight for £300 as it’s facelift or change afs module any help?

  4. Hi I have a 2015 superb elegance saloon mk2 fl. My problem is as I was driving the car warning lights came on dash saying rear right bulb & number plate bulbs are out also parking aid not available. Parked up noticed the rear right light had completely stopped working as had both number plate bulbs and reverse lights. Tried to open boot in saloon mode wouldn’t open nor would the third brake light flash, if I tried hatch mode light flashes and can hear motor but won’t open. Reverse lights were intermittent with parking aid. I have read this could be a cut wire in boot, bcm module or fuse box under the bonnet. Any ideas guys gonna take to auto electronic place near me
