Just noticed that we have a large swimming type puddle in the rear footwell (passenger side) - mat removed and water removed with wet/dry cleaner. The door was shut and window closed so any ideas how this water appeared?? Information would be gratefully received. Does anyone think that this is similar to the Fabia problems with door seal??? As we have had this problem too and this was fixed with mastic around the inner door panel. Best regards:confused:

Help - we have recently purchased a Superb 1.9TDi which 99.9% is fantastic and is a replacement to our missed Octavia which was wiped out in an argument with another car! The Superb has has been to the garage twice for a fault with the intermittent wiper. On both occassions they have drawn a blank on fixing the problem. Here goes:- When on intermittent the wipers wipe the screen once or twice (at the most) and then do not wipe the screen again. Wipers will work correctly if on continually slow and fast speed. The switch, wiper stalk and motor have all been changed and the fault persists. Any help would be most gratefully received and thank you all for reading. :confused::confused:

I own a Fabia 1.9 Diesel and my wife owns a Octavia 2001 mark II diesel. They are both fantastic cars, which we have had the odd problem with - mainly electric based which are a pain and expensive to remedy! But generally we both love our cars and we are always impressed by the MPG :)
