Hi guys. Been trawling through a number of threads on here (all morning) regarding engine mounts and before you all jump down my throat about it being mentioned before I can't find the exact information I'm looking for. Most of the threads are incomplete leaving questions unanswered. My gearbox mount has gone sloppy and while changing that I would like to change all the engine mountings. Whats the deal with uprated ones? Can I buy a "full kit" of mountings? I don't want anything ridiculously stiff (shaking my teeth out) but would like them a little stiffer than standard. Where can I get these from if available? What price am I looking at? Thanks

I'm 26 had the Fabia since 2008. I pay just over £1000 with a DR10 and three points.

I desperately need some uprated hoses as my standard ones are being held together with some silicone bandage! I really resent paying £200+ for decent hoses though! How much did this kit cost? The price on the Samco one is ridiculous. Does it come with all the hoses or just sections? I need every hose changed :(

Hilarious but tasteful! I would remove a few of the stickers though, just keeping the one on the rear window. All eyes on you? You can say that alright!

I also need to flush my water system out, I have some oil in there from when my cooler exploded. What do I need to get?

Hello I am looking to service my Fabia Vrs 06 myself, are there any guides on this forum to help me with this? I have had a good look around but cant find anything.. Where would be best to get parts from? What parts do I need? Also, when changing gear I'm starting to notice some play.. When you push the clutch engage the gear then lift the clutch it feels like there is some travel, as if the engine is moving or something? Could it be a bush or a mount or something? It feels "loose".

Why would it be filling up with black crap though? Its never done it before! Ive done 80,000 miles in the car with no problem and all of a sudden its full of crap!

Well pretty much as the title suggests. Had a little look in the header tank today and its full of thick black gunk. The car drives fine and has never had any problems with overheating, although since late last year from time to time the temperature warning light has come on but its done this even from cold starts in mid winter so i'm pretty sure it hasnt been overheating. Head gasket gone?? Please see pictures below.

Any ideas where I can get new covers for my rear seat bases? Some idiot decided to drop there cigarette on them on the weekend, BIG HOLE!

Hey guys! Having a little problem with my VRS. One of the hoses, I think it goes to the intercooler, its below the front bumper on the left side and its a U shape keeps popping off and the metal clip thingys have broken. I keep putting it back on and reconnecting the pin bracket but its coming off all the time and is now held on with duct tape (which only lasts a couple of hours). Does anyone have a diagram with parts numbers for the turbo system so I can try and get hold of a new hose? I'm kinda desperate!!

Hey guys, I'm trying to put my amp and sub into my Fabia. I can't find anywhere to put the power cable from the battery through in to the car! Ive looked and looked even tried to get it through the wing and no luck. Any ideas?

Thanks for the info mate! Yesterday was the first time I have ever really bothered with polishing any car! Ill grab some wax in the week and start again next weekend. Your right though, it would protect the paint and things and I need it!! Skating, bodyboarding and skiing take there toll on your paint work! In and out the car all the time, chucking equipment about and things, constantly shampooing my interior!!

I used Turtle Wax car shampoo then polished it up with T-Cut Black scratch remover and polish. To be honest she has a fair few little surface scratches on her but the polish has got most out That's what you get beaching it all the time though. As for the sticker, i'm pretty sure LHT Skoda are not about anymore so I might aswell take the sticker off

Like really dodgy bouncy? I'm asking as after work in the summer I hammer it down the beach after work to catch some waves and the roads are pretty hardcore, not bumpy but very winedy! Do they affect the handling in a bad way?

Although i'm not 17 (i'm 24) and have had a driving ban (dr10 - 20 month ban). I find the insurance pretty resonable. I had my licence back in October and got my Vrs in November, I pay £800 full comp.

Any tricks/tips on oil changing a 1.8T? What oil should be used? Is the filter torqued? Wheres the plug? etc etc ...
