Help radio wont work

briskoda08 posted a topic in Skoda Octavia Mk I (1996-2004)

Hello I have just bought an Octavia 52 plate with OE radio cassette which was working ok. Replaced it with a Goodmans GCE7301 CD / radio. I checked it was working by changing over cables. It was fine so I fitted it. Alas apart from the flashing diode when the facia is off it is now dead. I tried to refit the original unit - which is also dead. Fuse and connectors are ok. I'm lost! help! Charlie
