Many thanks for all of you .. my dealer ordered wheel bearings for me hope that they can fix it with them, should be delivered by wednesday .They said its road noise but even after changing tyres i can still hear the humming noise, they checked the wheel bearings and said there is nothing wrong with them. they said if the problem is with the wheel bearings it should be more louder while turning left or right ... the sound is driving me nuts, so much so that i even went to another skoda dealer, and even they could not pinpoint the exact area where the sound was coming from. hope it can be sorted by wednesday

i visit Central skoda ( where i bought the Car)and they changed my tyres ( as they suggesting its Tyre making noise) but still getting same noise ... any advise please ? they changed Continental Tyres to Bridgestone Tyres ....

its only coming when driving more than 5-10miles /hr not on Stationary , still its less than a month old.

they checked on 12th october and said wait for 50-100 miles more if noise did not disappear come back .. now booked for 31st of october 2009.

Hello every one , i recently bought a a Skoda fabia 3 1.4 tdi 80 pbh from central skoda birmingham , and milage is 300 miles , from first day i found there a humming/wining noise from some where near driver's side .. Any advise what can be wrong ? sorry i am not a technical Person. Many Thanks Regards Qazi
