Orange EPC light appears on dash for second time in 8,000 miles on new car. Skoda locally say they are aware of this fault, and OK to drive so long as it’s not red. any comments or experience anyone?

Fuel filter last changed at 50,000 miles... Mileage to date C 85,000 Engine type/size 1.6 TCRDI... Arranging for fulls rice now, and getting quote for update on injectors.

Thanks for the tip about the fuel filter. It may have because the car had been standing for some time due to lockdown, although I was able to give it a 15 minute warm-up every week or so in the interim.

I recently lost almost all power at about 60 mph, on a very busy dual carriageway, and just limped to safety at 10 mph, after a real struggle to a lay-by half a mile away. the RAC identified and replaced a failed injector ((at a cost of £500!). This was a very frightening experience a repeat of which I am anxious to avoid. My question is how much faith can I have in the three remaking injectors? My total mileage to date is 85000, car is ten years old, and I am very strict about regular,professional, servicing etc. Thanks.
