Hello all I am thinking of coming back to Skoda, I have had 3 in the past. Does anyone here have the new Superb 1.6 TDi DSG? If so, what do you think to the car and what sort of mpg are u getting around town driving please?

hey there.... I have never towed a caravan but I have towed a large car transporting trailer. I found it was spot on for hills and even around town it was never any problem. Even so when I had a large car on the trailer I found that getting up to speed was hard on the motorway with a105 BHP engine. I have now got a 140 DSG engine and it is much better. I think this was due to the power of the engine rather than the gearbox.

hey there do u mind if i come along now i got me new skoda

my old car (taxi) had cream leather the seats where not a problem but the cream carpets where a problem so has time goes on ill replace theses ones i would have done in my old car but only had it 7 months. the sat nav system in the new car seem very hard to use. is there a update for it or some other software i could install in it. ps i am alot better now but still cannot drive i got problems with my right knee has it hit the dashboard and the keys in the ignition. pss. now remember this if ur in a RTA and a ambulance comes rememeber they dont have TEA or mar's bars thats all i wanted they didnt have ote on board all that money they cost and they dont even do cup of tea and a mars bar.

its aint to posh leather easyer to clean. my old one was a elegance yer this one a L&k its got them silly headlights does only one know if that head unit does MP3's

hello i am taxi driver i got a 1.9 PD 105 DSG octavia i offen wondered about this tunning and re-mapping would help my MPG. any one got any feed back on this ?

I am a taxi driver and as I do a lot of miles I have, in the past, done my own oil and filter changes with a 2 mk Clio and 1 mk Almera. I would like to do the same with my 55 plate Skoda Octavia Estate 1.9 PD DSG. Can anybody tell me if there is either anything extra or different I need to know?

Hey there i am a taxi driver.i have recently got the octavia and soon will be due for some new tyres what do you recommend.? ideally looking for economical,low noise.

do u think this will cover taxi's and private hire car's ?

i looked all over for the switch the Red light does out on the Dash telling u the boot is shut. so it must have another switch somewhere.As i really could do with the lights working i think its another trip to the skoda dealer and 8 millon pound a hour labour charge. lol

hey there got a 55 plate octavia estate and neither of the boot lights work. i tested the bulbs and they are ok, i tested the live cable and thats got 12v coming thru but on the black earth cable there seems to be nothing on both sides. anyone got any idea why ? i would not mind but i am a taxi driver who works nights so lights in the boot would be a massive help.

hello all that post above was what happened 2 years ago ish.. had to use them today in a hurry. I made a call said i was in a rush and really need some help. they got me in within 2 hours and sorted me. the service has really changed they're now nice and easy to talk to, so i booked my car in for a cam belt change there at a future date. i was really surprised with today. one bad thing they dont have auto courtesy cars. :(

hey there is it really worth going for one of these unit and is it simple plug and play even for the sat nav side of things. also what is the differance between the two unit: OCTAVIA OCTAVIA II is it for different models of car new/older ??

hello all new here has well. I am 24 from mansfield have had to 2 skoda both auto diesels one a superb 2.5 V6 and my current one is a 1.9TDi DSG wish has small problem the trip computer seem to wipe is self every time i leave it over night any one have any ideas why ?

hey all i have a 55 plate elegance so where would my 3.5mm jack be i looked all over for it? i do have the 6 cd changer in the boot.
