My Fabia VRS is now for sale due. Low Mileage, In good order, and most importantly, this one DOESN'T burn oil !!!! Its factory standard. 75% of the 20,000 miles are motorway miles. Not currently being driven apart from the odd trip here and there to keep it ticking over. Only 300 or so miles in the last 12 months! Genuine reason for sale. Its time for the car to go unfortunately due to getting a company vehicle! Its a Rallye Green MK2 VRS DSG with 20022 miles and is in great nick.... What is a reasonable price to ask for it? £9k? For info, its also NOT an oil burner.... Ive had it 18 months and put approx 18000 miles on it and in that time its had 3 litres of oil. Advise welcomed...

I wonder if it needs some WD40 on it or something..... I think its out of its warrant period now.

A squeak has developed every time I press my accelerator pedal.... Any ideas?

Just tried the above - ignition and button only and it seems to have sorted it. will confirm when i drive again in the morning.

Mine came on last night right as I was getting home, so I checked my pressures this morning to find one of my tyres was low....Ive topped up the air and the light is still on. Does anyone know when the warning light should go off when the tyre/tyres are inflated? immediately? within minutes? or is it still on because The sensor cannot find a constant air pressure, meaning I have a puncture?

Im only after something subtle...Ive seen on here (but i cant find the original post) an effort which I believe was a focus ST rear end photoshopped onto the back of a Mk2 VRS and it looked awesome and I want to explore getting that done. charles - you quite possibly did spot me in Elland. I dont live too far from there either. Apols if you tried to grab my attention and I didnt respond.

Can anyone recommend somewhere/someone in the West Yorkshire area that can make me a bespoke rear bumper and fit it to my car? thanks

My understanding is that you can record in public, and having your car as the focal point wont cause any issues. I believe it becomes an issue if you're focussing the camera on a neighbours property to keep an eye on them, as part of a neighbour dispute or something similar. I also think that whatever you do, you must now display a sign that says there is CCTV in use. If someone could clarify my thoughts, that would be great as im considering doing similar.

Likewise, mine is around 80 miles short of 10,000 and its only been topped up with 1L (yesterday) since leaving the showroom.

I wonder if Skoda themselves would care to comment on this!? I have the same problem and Ive always thought along the lines of "oh, good idea to drain water like that"....Didnt think about internal rusting! a good point well made.

Been working away for a couple of days and I gets an email from the office saying ive left both my windows down, but only by an inch or so... This has happened before, and I gave myself the benefit of the doubt and assumed id left the windows down... Not sure whats going on here...is there a known electrical fault or anything similar....? or is the the old too many clicks on my key fob when I lock the car? All help appreciated.

I want to make a change to the rear bumper on my fabia. Id like to see what the Focus ST rear bumper with two pipes looks like on a rallye green mk2. Someone on here posted a photo shopped effort but I cant find it.... Also, on the same subject, can anyone recommend somewhere which will mock this up and ultimately do the job for me? closer to west yorks the better. Cheers

Well, the VRS is due for its first service. The main dealer want a rather large sum to do what I know isn't a lot of work. That said, I'm keen to keep a good service history and I'd like recommendations for VAG service agents in the West Yorkshire area.... Cheers

Tough question i know, but how much louder do you rkn it would be? have you heard the focus RS standing idle?...thats what im after...

.......Id like it a little louder and a little 'throatier'.....and I dont want to end up with your stereotypical boy racer eqs back box and pipe like folk used to have on their Nova SRI's.... suggestions for a subtle improvement anyone?
