Hi my car steering vibrate when doing 70mph and vibrates when breaking. changed the pads and disk but results still the same. could it be wheel balancing? tryes are fairly new and 6 months back had 2 front wheel bearing done. when i brake sometimes you hear grinding noise but it breaks fine. any ideas please?

I recently changed my disc and pads but still keep getting this noise as if there is grinding of disc etc. When i turn steering toward right the noise level increase dramatically. The steering vibrates alot and the pedals which makes the drive uncomfortable. Any ideas?

Is there anyone in coventry with VAG COM? or anywhere in coventry where i can get this problem checked since the dealers are not helpful

is ABS sensor easy to fix? and are they expensive? Thanks

I have got the car scanned and it coms up with 17568 P1160 Manifold Temp.Sensor Circ. Short to Ground.

I tried pressing ASR switch but light stays on constantly without turning off. Do you reckon that it is ABS sensor? How much would this cost? and will the cra still pass MOT? Thanks

I am having problem with the light staying on for Traction Control whilst driving on a skoda octavia 1.9 03 plate diesel. I changed the MAF but still had no luck. Fault code comes up as 17568 P1160 Manifold Temp.Sensor Circ. Short to Ground. The car seems to lack in power lately, any ideas? I have read on this forum that people have changed MAF but it didnt seem to work for me. Thanks Also will this affect MOT?

I aint getting any black fuel and fuel economy seems fine so far. Where is the best place to get hose pipe checked? dealer? or general mechanic

tried removing MAF, there was slight difference in terms of pick but not a massive changes. will clean the MAF with carb cleaner make difference? shall i change the air filter? i think that it might be leak on pipes because i can hear a whining noise when accelerating. dont want to take it to dealer due to cost and would rather try and fix it myself if possible

I know this has already been discussed but just want to make sure that mine is the same thing. The car drives fine in town or on motorways when doing more than 75mph. When accelerating between 60-70mph it takes ages and the accelerator is fully down but the car hardly moves. Sometimes you can hear a winding noise when you accelerate. The fuel economy is good giving 56mpg. As anyone got any ideas? Your help is appreciated. Thank you
