  1. from what I can make out it comes with the following, I could be wrong though as all current bumf has been taken down for the "R" Media System Plus with 8.0" colour touchscreen with proximity sensor, 4 USB ports, DAB, Voice recognition, CD Player, 8 speakers the good thing is the Octavia and Leon share the same boot floor so my custom made enclosure should drop right into the Leon (hopefully)
  2. TBH I don't know what it comes with, I'm certain it's not the Beats as it has no sub, don't really care for any OEM stereo so always upgrade with quality old school equipment! if you fancy a nosey at what I did in my Octavia have a look here! https://talkaudio.co.uk/octavia-vrs230-install-t281248.html
  3. no, standard stereo, at least it has a CD player unlike the Skoda!
  4. Already have, I'm Marko70 on there, Marko was already taken! just browsing t the moment but I'm interested in anything audio related as I will be upgrading the sound system at some point!
  5. well it was all detailed, tank of fuel and covered up ready for unveiling but not now! unless I get a cal this morning it'll most likely be next week now..
  6. well the best day didn't happen yesterday! they were unable to register it as the whole VW/Audi system was down they use to register new cars!
  7. picking the Cupra up today, very excited! last run in the faithful Octy, someone will have a cracking Octy when they buy my old one, probably one of the quietest too with all the deadening I fitted!!
  8. The Superb is a good looking car, but too wide for my drive, I have to fold my mirrors in to get down it with inches to spare! Oh and the Cupra has 70bhp more!
  9. well, after 3 Octavia vRS's (mk1,2,3) I have taken the plunge and put a deposit on a new Seat Leon Cupra R ST, I have have had 11 years of trouble free motoring but feel I have gone as far as I can with the current vRS offerings! if only Skoda offered a 4wd version with 300+ BHP I may have been tempted but can't be doing with the face lifted looks. I will miss my trust Skoda but needs must! Mark.
  10. as an update to my post, I've been offered £15k trade in at a local Cupra dealership, didn't think this was too bad, would probably be considerably more headache to sell privately for more...
  11. how much was that up for? my 230 has 7.5k on the clock and thinking of trading in but not sure where values lie these days..
  12. get a full 4 wheel alignment sorted too, if it knocked a kerb at any point this could throw it out enough to scrub tyres as you mentioned about uneven wear on tyres?
  13. I take it the front passenger side has had one of the 3 new tyres fitted? to be honest I've never heard a wheel bearing make an intermittent droning noise like that, usually it's constant, only other thing I can think of is diff, but there again that's usually a constant drone that should increase in tone as you go faster.
  14. they would never replace the sill, far too much work and the car is better off with original sill, a good shop will simply pull it out and repair.
