Well I have to given them credit. I picked up my bear yesterday. Having not heard anything from the dealer since I ordered the car I called them last Wednesday to ask for a provisional build week and if not allocated add a few more options. Except they told me it arrived that very day. A very welcome surprise. I picked it up yesterday and also got the test drive discount. A very happy camper so far.

You should be ok we're the words I heard. My 'VIP discount' seems to be evaporating before my eyes. I'm feeling more cynical by the day about the premise on which the deal was made and supposed discounts, which was a combination of the dealer, the finance company discount and Skoda. I can't help but feel I'll only be left with the dealer component which amounts to little in the grand scheme of things.

Hi All, Wondering of anyone has come across skoda approved car seat covers for the Kodiaq 7 seater. I've ordered an SE with the standard fabric seats. I'm thinking about the muddy kids after the Saturday football match.

Ordered and due hopefully before Christmas Metallic Business Grey SE 1.4 TSI 150PS 4x4 7 Seater plus electric towbar for the bike rack and mats. Great standard kit on the SE. Couldn't justify the extra for the SE L. Looking forward to it. Chopping in my 58 plate Octavia estate which I have had from new. That has been a great car so hoping for a similar experience and another 9 years trouble free running.

Hi, I've got an 2008 Octavia 1.6FSi the annoying rattle started a month or so ago. Obviously my car is still under warranty and I'd prefer them to sort it out. I've already asked them to have a look when it went in for it's first service last month, they didn't find anything. But this sounds like exactly the same problem I'm having. I'd like to identify exactly which of the two problems it is before I book it in. I know where the air intake pipe pipe is from the photos later in this thread, but where is the Engine ECU bracket, and what is a scuttle trim. I'd appreciate any help. Cheers

Picked up my factory order Octy a few weeks ago. Looked after well by Jeff. Everything went very smoothly a got a good discount to boot. Will see how the first service goes in 12 months.
