  1. ...or write to this address [email protected] and mark it for the attention of Lukaš Nachtmann, Archiv.
  2. This guy is good, he has already shipped to USA and Canada. English language is a bit pidgin, have a wander around the site, 'obchod' is shop but not a proper e-shop. Rotor arm is 'palec' in Czech, I guess you might want to make up a worthwhile order rather than just the one item ! http://www.pragos.cz/veterani/clanek1.php3?id=239&katcis=32〈=cz&business=1#
  3. This one is the same vehicle I drove from Czech and sold for £600, but it didn't need any welding, being in excellent condition. The chance of finding one in this condition now is not good. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/skofast/tazmimon003.jpg The camper conversion looks very well done, whether it's worth the asking price is down to personal taste and how 'different' you want to be ! It isn't the only one in the country, there's another in Cornwall, that one is an original Slovak-factory-built camper complete with factory manual on how to put up the extending roof.
  4. Well, they may be being assembled in Kvasiny but here in the country roads around Mlada Boleslav, MY country roads, they're hoolying around in convoys of development cars, pre-production series hacks and just Cesana guys out to impress the girlfriends. And using up the whole width of road everywhere, usually when coming at me head-on !
  5. exactly...and looking closer to 'home' if you were considering a new Fabia, the Pound has lost 10% of its value against the Czech Crown in about a month. Crown also unstable against the Euro, which is why Vrchlabi Skoda plant lost the VW 'Up!' deal to Slovakia which has been Euro since January.
  6. ?kodovka zlevnila star?í octavie o desítky tisíc– Novinky.cz
  7. The pictured Skoda in the earliest spec had rear floor and bulkhead removed as necessary for a mid-engine Yank V8 installation, but around that and the rest of the cockpit with hefty race cage was the original steel bodyshell. I know, I sat in it - even tried to buy it but ,due to size of dream being inversely proportional to funding, didn't. Oh well, crap occurs.
  8. The very first Skoda Supersaloon, or should that be 'Special Saloon ?,based on a S110R Coupe, used the roadcar's central tub, strengthened of course, with suspenion and transaxle subframes added front and rear. It was sponsored by Skoda Great Britain and featured regularly in their in-house customer magazine.
  9. so that'll mean cutting out all the bottom half of the rear bulkhead with the step above the gearbox, and all the rear floor including the tunnel ? I think the phrase 'welded-in rollcage' is going to be high on the list !
  10. 'Fraid not. I think he might be an Aston Martin fan though.....!
  11. If you don't have any joy, let me know, I'll see what's about over here
  12. the brass 'stat inside the blue intake trumpet, where it clips to the blue tin filter, that tells it whether to draw more air from the trumpet or the pre-heat tin shroud/pipe round the exhaust manifold branch. If the hot intake pipe has already been removed and replaced with and extra cold intake, the 'stat is superfluous....and not needed ! Very, very drunk? Should we start calling you Rowley Birkin ?
  13. Personally I would dump that rocker cover breather hose into a catch bottle, otherwise you'll be up the detailling guy's workshop again for a refettle of the back panel and bumper ! And,yes, even with a brand spanking engine ! But looking great, sorry I won't be in Cumbria to see it but it's a bit of a jaunt !
  14. Seeing as how you've done the 'double cold intake hose' mod, why not bin the very restrictive wax-stat and its flap, and you've got the works' Gp.A tweak !
