I seem to have lost the message function in the phone menu. I did have it and have used it in the past. There are 5 function keys after you have pressed phone, I now only have 4 Amundsen 2 built October 15 Octavia 3 SEL Any help?

My new Octy 3 is Race Blue with full beige leather. This is my personal preference ordered from new. I am not keen on black. Its depressing looking at so much darkness and gets very hot in summer The beige lightens up the interior. Yes it gets just as dirty as black but you are much more likely to clean it because the dirt marks obviously show up more on beige than black. Being leather its easy to keep clean, just use a damp cloth and a microfibre to dry it. Every 6 months I use a leather cleaner then a leather conditioner. Previous car was a Superb 2 in Rosso Brunello with....... beige leather. I did consider Topaz for the outside but in the end decided I wanted a brighter colour

Average fuel consumption since start and flick to range quite a bit

Very nice and in the best colour combo :clap: I went for the full leather which gave me the heated seats as well. No spare but have now bought 4 winter wheels/tyres one of which will be the spare in summer

The £1k upgrade for head unit(satnav) is for the Columbus unit. (£1050) VRS now comes as standard with Amundsen sat nav since Oct 15 IMO the Columbus is not worth another £1000 having had it on my previous Superb

My new SEL had a problem when it was delivered in that it was set to variable and showed the correct mileage to go (c. 18400 miles) but the time was showing 341 days when it should be nearer 730 days(2 years) Went into the dealer and came back showing 65,000,000 miles and 65,000 days. Its been back twice since and still not fixed but mileage is now correct on oil service but not inspection. Its got to back for 2 days while they connect car to mother in czechland!!

I hope I do not get the dreaded sawtoothing I will keep a close eye on them and change them round to the front every 10000 miles I had a new Octy 2 FL VRS diesel in 2010 and they got the stepped edges on the rears, they were Dunlop Sport Maxx but not RT's

Check what your service indicator says Hold the long button below the maxidot until the word 'Service' comes up on the maxidot then release it. It will then give you the mileage left and days left for both the Oil Change and Inspection. Also Skoda dealers have a habit of switching the factory set variable servicing to the fixed regime before delivery at PDI
