  1. Pmsl! That's my mate, she gets scared easily as you can tell. It was her first time on track, but she enjoyed it in the end. Just trying to get her ready for Nurburgring in July, this is tame compared to that!
  2. Just a tad, single figure MPG ftw! Yours has had loads of work and it's paid off, standard vRS's aren't even worth the fuel to play with Maybe you should look into an LSD? You can see on the video when we are coming out of the far corner I just pull lengths into you as I'm putting the power down (well almost, it was still trying to spin as it was so slippery)
  3. Yep very true Luke. We will definetly have to organise an evening at Brands or something soon, a much better circuit with 2-3 obvious overtaking places. I don't actually know what a good lap time of Lydden is, not that it's hard to mess the lap up and get a bad time lol. Should have had a play Ross!
  4. Pfffft only cause there's no real overtaking points, I was up your ****ter for ages! Was a really good race actually, video if anybody is interested....
  5. This wasn't in Essex somewhere was it? I think there was a post about it a week ago or so I rang the guy up about it and it sounds very familiar to what you were saying, he just wanted to give a **** price for my car
  6. Good price, I'm 20 1 years NCB no crashes so should be about the same or less!
  7. Already did that mate I will shop around nearer the time as there's no point doing it yet. But at least I know I won't be paying the earth. Common prices in here seem to be around £600-£900 for my age, not bad considering what people pay on 1.2 Corsa's Thanks for the replies
  8. I didn't think it would take long, it was a bargain to be fair. Better luck next time mate
  9. Hello, signed up as I'm looking to get one of these in the New Year or so when my insurance is up for renewal I have got a quote of £750 FC with 2 years NCB @ 20 which I think is pretty damn good. My mate pays for than that on TPFT on a 1.2 Corsa! Just wondered what kind of prices other people are paying Thanks
  10. Yeah I'd have thought with so many problems you could ask the dealer what the situation is with getting some kind of replacement. Then again warranty work means more money for them.
  11. Hi, I was just browsing this forum as I'm interested in a Fabia vRS. I've also seen this one, spoke to the fella yesterday afternoon. I understand dealers pay less than list price for part ex's but I thought offering £2k for my car which is worth £3.5k was taking the **** a bit. It's a nice looking car and comes with leather and I can't see any others with that. I prefer the normal seats but was going to sell the leather to make more cash. Bargain considering he is getting all the work it needs done for you (cambelt, water pump etc). I wish I had the cash sitting around to snap it up. I'd go for it if I was in your position, just depends if you want to take that little on your G40. Graham
