  2. I have a Salus iT500 internet controlled thermostat that works well. Check it out It can be bought with plug & play modules for certain boilers making installation very simple.

  4. The wifes VW Touran (55 reg 1.9 TDI) has the engine management light on with the message "Emissions Garage" I have read the DTC codes using my Shark STS unit and after a couple of hours googling them I cannot find anything other than they may be chassis related. The codes are: C06B8 C0191 Can anyone help please?
  5. Neutral switching or reverse polarity is a fairly dangerous situation. If this is the case I recommend you get an electrician to take a look at your installation.
  6. It depends on how it has been wired up really, for example the live can be looped in at the fitting or the switch.
  7. Sounds like you may have a crossed wire somewhere. Be aware that on some lighting circuits the Black or Blue wires can sometimes be Live and not Neutral. Can you take pictures of the junction box etc so we can see what you are describing?
  8. I've had too many beers already. Congrats it looks like a nice motor.
  9. I had exactly the same fault a couple of weeks ago. I used Cartronix to repair my cluster, their service was excellent. They said the processor had failed.
  10. I was the 1st owner of this car and I was gutted when I had to sell it. It's nice to see it on here again though.
  11. Sounds too good to be true, especially the 'Angel Eye Lights'.
  12. Werkstat Jett for me http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/werkstat-acrylic-jett-trigger.html It's not cheap but I think it works great on Silver cars
  13. You don't need to isolate the water supply to the house. The White pipe in your pic is the filling loop, so when the valves at either end of the loop are opened it will fill your system with water. Make sure both the valves are closed and remove the loop, this way no water can accidentally fill the system up. You can then go about draining the system - look for a drain valve on one of your radiators, they are usually at a low point in the system and possibly near an external door for ease of draining.
  14. Try performing a soft reset by simultaneously holding down the the left & right arrow buttons and microphone button until you see the screen go off. Hope this helps.
  15. I believe it's some sort of code similar to the hanky code, or the bandana code, and flagging. It's a type of colour-coding system, employed usually among the gay male casual-sex seekers or BDSM practitioners. :wonder:
