I have mine remapped to around 200bhp, the torque is massive. Only downside is the power comes in very quickly around 1900 rpm and in the wet its extremely difficult to put the power down. It will wheel spin easily in third at 2000 rpm with half throttle. [ with wet road surfice] Makes it more fun!!

The final bill after a little negotiation came to £400.

I was quoted 195 - 205bhp; 410 Torque. I have no idea if real; feels quick!

Hi, Had my car "chipped" by race tune / Phil Whitaker Cars near Slough yesterday. The improvement in torque throughout the rev range is excellent. Only slight issue is that you need to be a little more cautious when driving in the yet! It will spin the wheels without any effort and use traction control in 3rd gear. The power delivery from 1800 - 4500 is excellent - would recommend this upgrade to all careful drivers. I'm sure this is similar to superchips and the other options that are out there. I do not have the graph figures since the rolling road results mean very little to me! Really makes a big difference to the car; MPG appear to be unaffected unless you use the power!! Terry

Would the below MFD3 be the same as the Skoda new devices? Would this MFD3 fit the Skoda Octavia, and would my CD changer connect to it? I am also considering the upgrade and purchasing a Skoda Sat Nav unit from ebay... Is it worth paying the extra and getting the DVD model? Can anyone confirm if the models will play CD's with MP3 tracks loaded as per the standard stream radio fitted to the vRS? Thanks Terry

I have the same tyre as you Michelin Pilot 225 40 18, likewise pleasanlty surpised.

I thought the difference in yellow's could class a bit.... The new yellow is not the same as the fabia vrs one.... and too yellow cars might bit a little much! Terry

I just ordered mine also with the "free" upgrade.... Also got a discount off the listed price.

My next question in a month or two will be.... Which remap is the best!?

After everyone's comments I've spoken to the stealer and have ammended the order accordingly. He's found a car in stock and the specification is: vRS Blue Maxi Dot Parking Sensors front and rear Cruise Control 18" Allows & the upgrade pack Hopefully an early September delivery.
