Hi I have just found out that my gearbox is broken the 1st and 2nd synchro has broke so I'm going to change the complete box. What gearboxes will fit and how can I find out the code on my gearbox as the car is currently parked up in a garage. Thanks Gareth.

Skoda dealer told my father that I must be constantly hammering the car for the pipe to come off

Driving home from work today and then a bang and a load of black smoke with a total loss of power. Pulled over smoke stops but no power (drives but no go) and a funny noise from the engine. Search on here and hope it's just the turbo pipe blown off. Parked outside my fathers garage ready to be looked at tomorrow. Not had much luck with it this year, DMF ruined, bushes and now this

After a lot of reading on here I bought front and rear wishbone bushes. Fronts powerflex from Awesome GTI and rears from Seat at £20.34 for the 2 rears so from Tuesday the knocking will be gone

I've had my Fabia VRS since December. I was out last night and a guy came and asked if I had a Fabia reg number bla bla and I said yes. He says it used to be his and he had it chipped. How can I tell if he has or not? Thanks
