  1. I used to have Xenons on my old RenaultSport Clio. I took it over to Germany one year for a trip to the 'Ring and had plenty of Continentals flashing me and my comrades for our beam patterns. We found a simple and cheap solution (as beam adjusting stickers don't work on Xenons) was to park facing a wall (so you could see the beam pattern) and place a small piece of electrical tape over a small part of the headlight so as to block that part of the beam. Simples
  2. I'll try again tomorrow in the light with a proper camera if I get the chance.
  3. On a similar vein - what sort of mileage are people getting from a set of front tyres? I managed 8000 from my ContiSportContact3s, and my Falken 452s are down to 2mm after 9000 miles (sorry for the hijack).
  4. I always thought this was just my ham-fisted lack of finesse with the controls - but seems the tyres were to blame all along!
  5. Is this any good to you? Apologies for the poor quality - it was dark in the garage and the pic was taken with a Blackberry.
  6. Good job then! Whoever thought to mix electrical components with potential water-based hazards needs taking out and shooting (and owes me £190)!
  7. Mine leaked there and knackered the control module for the parking sensors - so be careful!
  8. If you held on to the unlock button for a fraction too long when you unlocked the car, the windows will start to open, which might explain why snow then fell into the car.
  9. Have you tried Euro Car Parts, or GSF Car Parts? Pretty reasonable prices on there.
  10. I heard that a little vinegar on a cloth is fine for the wiper blades, just to cut through the grease and grime picked up by general driving. I don't know about meths but I can't see a problem with it tbh.
  11. Try these guys: http://wiperblades.co.uk/
  12. Very nice. Certainly better spec than the poverty-level vRS estates that Hampshire Police give us!
  13. That's pretty much what I thought to be honest, so I think I'll just go with a local place rather than mail order, when the time comes.
