  1. Not sure of you can do it on Skoda but on MK7 Golf if you press "car button" on radio screen, in car status you press stop/start and it tells you why your stop/start not available or when it's available
  2. Regen lasts about 20 to 25 min, depending on driving conditions. Fans do come on when regeneration is interrupted or it just complete while filter is still hot. After regen filter cools down pretty fast, never experienced fans on after regen. During regen filter temperature reach up to 678c max.
  3. Many thanks again. Will grab few fuses tomorrow and test each slot. In my car second raw have most 7.5 amp fuses, so I am guessing it might be few changes since 2012.
  4. In my owners manual is 4 switch illumination, number plate lights. 22 DRL 30 Exterior mirror heater. 22 is 5th slot from left missing second raw and 30 is 5th slot from right second raw
  5. My owners manual tells me fuse 22 for DRL.
  6. Many thanks for helpful reply. Just checked and it's fuse 22 (drl lights) location 5 in second raw missing. Now bit of confusion fuse in location 5 in second raw from other side missing too. How do count them from left or from right? Also what fuse do I need 7.5?
  7. Just bought 2014 citigo sport for Mrs as well. So far very impressed with this little car. Would like to ask without starting new thread (if op doesn't mind). If i puchase skoda Garmin navigation to add to car, will it be just plug and play? Will it have bluetooth as well? Thanks
  8. Hey guys Recently (2 days ago) purchased 2014 citigo sport. Noticed that both front drl lights not working, checked bulbs and they did look blown. Also n/s side light in same bulb was out. So bought 2 new w21/5 bulbs and replaced them, to my surprise both drl still not functional. Side light works fine, but drl off. What could be wrong? Can it be disabled from car?
  9. Got car back, water pump failed. Looked like it stuck shut. Got it sorted at local indy, £450 genuine water pump and timing belt kit plus service.
  10. £720 is a joke. VW main dealer charges £484 for water pump and timing belt kit.
  11. Well, 1.6 Tdi Mk7 Golf has same issue. Someone kindly posted link on mk7 forums for me to see. Car now at indy garage, it's out of warranty anyway. 2014 with 85k on clock. I intend to use indy with genuine parts. Of cause timing belt will be replaced as well. How much rough cost on timing belt and w/p with genuine kit at indy for 1.6 tdi? I am quite happy it's happened here in UK, as I just returned from 3.5k EU trip and 2 days later, pump failed.
  12. I am using obd 11 too but can't get dpf info on it. Obd11 adapter won't work with VAG dpf app.
  13. I am using it on my 2013 MK7 Golf CLHA engine code and cheap ebay adapter. See below VAG DPF free is the free version of the application VAG DPF that show you the most important data related to the DPF particulate filter and its regeneration phases using an ELM327 Bluetooth/WIFI adapter. With this free app you can statically view 3 parameters related to the particulate filter status. This app doesn't use standard OBD2 commands as almost all other apps, it uses directly CAN commands specific of car model and this is the reason why it doesn't work with every car; due to the use of CAN commands, the app needs al least a decent ELM327 adapter (see note below); some users reports correct app working with a 10-15 euro adapter. ATTENTION!! This app works only with VW group cars (Audi Volkswagen Seat Skoda) that are equipped with engines listed below; for diesel engines not listed is not guaranteed the full compatibility, so if you anyway buy the app, consider that some or all functions couldn't work correctly. Engines supported: CRBC (2.0TDI 150CV) CFHD (2.0TDI 143CV) CUNA (2.0TDI 184CV) CFFB (2.0TDI 140CV) CFWA (1.2TDI 75CV) CLHA (1.6TDI 105CV) CXXB (1.6TDI 110CV) CAYC (1.6TDI 105CV)(partially on Passat 3C MY10) CAHA (2.0TDI 170CV)(beta, requires verification) Tested by users: CFGB,CFGC,CJCA,CRMB,CUPA,CUSA,CXFA,CAYB,CAYD,CRLB,CUTA,CFHC,CAGA(*),CSHA,CJCD (*) = partial support IMPORTANT some of the engines above may be incompatible, it depends on the engine software version. Others engines of the same family may be compatible, but they are not yet tested. The list is constantly updated.
  14. Yes, it's free trial. Full version only £3. You will need cheap bluetooth obd adapter. Bought my from ebay under £4.
  15. Passive regens takes place every 160 miles (roughly), regardless town or motorway run. If you download VAG dpf app from android play store, you will be able monitor regen. My car successfully completed every regen for past year (since I use VAG dpf app). Car is over 3 years old with over 80k on clock and dpf is only 7% full.
  16. Regen won't complete when idling. After long idle it will interrupt and come back when conditions are met. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  17. I do a lot short journeys and most time when I just about pull on drive or to my destination regen starts. I have to either interrupt regen or get it back on road to get it completed. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  18. It's great app. I know exactly when regeneration will kick in so I can plan my route via motorway to get regeneration successfully complete. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  19. I don't want go dpf removal way as apparently it's illegal and will invalidate insurance also concerned about resale. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks for advice guys. I I would love 1.4tsi Golf Mk7 to replace tdi but won't afford one as my golf is still under 3 years old but done 75k already. There are few 1.4 tsi out there and all of them low mileage cars. If I trade my car in for same petrol golf, I will need at least 2k adding. I absolutely love my golf, just dpf does my head in. 21. I have car OCD as well, so got it changed ASAP. New stick is slightly different colour but looks identical. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  22. Hey guys I am thinking of trading my mk7 golf 1.6tdi for Skoda rapid. The main reason is dpf does my head in, a lot of short trips (didn't have any issues with it yet). I am considering petrol engine and want high spec'd car. Can you please advice which is best petrol engined rapid to choose and what best spec's to have. Also been looking on spaceback models, are they any good. Many thanks in advance Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
