hello, i have a 57 reg diesel scout and often experience the problem you describe, also mine feels quite lumpy on tick over sometimes. oh by the way, had a new clutch at 30,000 miles :'( . just over 60,000 now so could be on borrowed time. -
i spoke to skoda last week about corrosion on all four wheels on my scout. i was told to arrange a visit with my dealer who will inspect them and report to skoda. they will then decide on what action to take.

my scout 2tr td has only covered 33000 miles and the clutch has started slipping:(. i could'nt believe it. the responce i got from skoda assistance was great but i'm so dissapointed. has this happened to anyone else at such a low mileage.
