  1. Hi Thanks for your help over the years. An intermittent starting fault has rendered the old girl to costly to repair. I wish you all luck but this is the end, goodbye. Taff
  2. Lived in Harrogate for a couple of years back in the eighties. Got my back tat from someone in Leeds, cost a fortune at the time.
  3. just noticed where you're from. Diolch mate, originally from Rhondda myself.
  4. Cheers guys. It seems simple to get off, famous last words. Just four bolts under the hatch and four slip bolts underneath rear and one slip bolt on the sides. Has a rubber grommet in the middle by the release catch to pass wires through. Will give it a bash tomorrow. BTW the sensors are for the wife! not me, lol.
  5. All sorted new suspension on. Nuts and bolts 2pound something from local dealers.
  6. Hi all sorted adrad free delivery received on Tuesday (ordered on Sunday) works a treat.
  7. Hi I just got some sensors for 16gbp. Has anyone fitted them before? I noticed on a fiat and honda site they recommend removing the rear bumper as the drilling locations are marked there. Any tips that I could use? Regards Taff
  8. I had this problem on my wife's old fiesta. I just slapped on a new rocker cover gasket. Did the trick for me.
  9. Cheers Tom I'm getting them from the local Skoda dealer. I wanted the proper ones so that's why I went for Jorily's kit! Taff
  10. Received bump stops but still no nuts and bolts! My local dealer is getting them in on Wednesday. Not bothering Jorily again. Taff Ps nuts and bolts clearly in the advertisement.
  11. Hi Guys Tried your site Adambmx but they kept adding a tenner on at the end for postage. This site http://www.adrad.co.uk/car-radiator/catalogue.php?&manu=SKODA&model=FELICIA didn't. Tried to contact Jorily again for details but they haven't replied so going with adrad. Thanks again Taff
  12. Hi I've found this radiator, mine's leaking. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400199719082#ht_1908wt_1138 Will it be okay for a 1.6 manual petrol with no a/c? TIA Taff
  13. Was going to Skoda tomorrow but just received a email from Graham. He's been laid up with a bad back but will despatch missing parts asap.
  14. Thanks jonny a. I was sent a pair of monroe's! I'm thinking that I should order the bolts from Jorily's as they sell the pack for about a fiver. I really would like to support the guy, but I ordered these for the last bank holiday and they took a couple of weeks to get here so I missed it. It's rained ever since and today was ideal. Off side looks totally rusted so I banked on using my grinder, even if I could get it off I would still rather put new nuts and bolts on. Taff
  15. HI Which wire do you earth? Gauge has not worked for ages but now I have to change radiator. Would like to get it working before I do that. Regards T
  16. Hi Guys Bought a comprehensive rear shock kit from Jorily. Opened it up today to get car done, no bump stops or more importantly no bolts and nyloc nuts as per picture and description on his website. I ordered the bloody full kit because I'm probably going to have to grind the bottom nut and bolt off. I know I should have checked when I received it but thought, as it was Jorily, it would be spot on. Can I get by without new bump stops? Where can I get the nuts and bolts, I understand they've got to be high tensile? To be honest I've just emailed Jorily and haven't given him chance to reply, but he didn't reply to my emails about the lateness of delivery of this item anyway. I know he's under pressure but I'm just ****ed of it's a bank holiday and I don't know where to get the bloody bolts from. I know I should have check but oh billix. Taff Oh and the radiator is now leaking!
  17. Cheers guys, my neighbour has managed to get it working again. I didn't have a chance as I was at work and the wife needed it urgently! Taff
  18. Hi wife's starter motor is dead. Is this one fine? I think it's the cheapest I can find. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SKODA-FELICIA-1-3-95-01-1-6-96-00-STARTER-MOTOR-ST155-/230626448728?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item35b2685558 Taff
  19. Thanks Fellymagic managed to get it done, wasn't pulling hard enough. Taff
  20. Hi again I'm extremely happy the remotes work but one last question. How do I get the indicators to flash with only one control wire from the remote control unit. It's all installed in the passenger foot well is there any easy way to get it done. It'll be a pain to go across to the four way switch and I don't really understand picture 5. Nearly there! Got the stereo fitted but speakers are the wrong way round but there is sound so I'm happy with that for now. Taff
  21. Whey hey found it. What a fight. It was tight in under/behind glovebox with the wiring going over the bottom screw fix so tight I couldn't get to it without undoing a few screws, but it's done and remote works. Can't be arsed finding out where the indicator cable connection goes. Think I've pulled out the plastic heating thingy from behind the stereo and can't seem to fix it exactly back into place. Fed up and still have to put in new mp3 stereo for wife.
  22. Thanks RainbowFore. I have the normal central locking but bought a simple remote unit. See http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/158952-urgent-help-central-locking/page__p__2012020__fromsearch__1#entry2012020 I managed to get it to work but could only close the locks. I have electric mirrors so should have the 10 block. If I could only find that I'd know whether this bloody unit works. Taff
  23. No I've got a basic door closing module but couldn't find where to connect it. Passenger door only had one that pulsed, could only close or open, I can't remember what. But have electric mirrors and central looking just can't get this unit to work. Seems from reading this thread it's not a negative pulse, I only need to find the connector to try to see if it works. I hope this makes sense as I've had a few. Taff
