I must admit when I test drove the MIII, my thoughts were this doesn't feel much different to my MKII. However you do notice the new electronic sensors, i.e. Blind spot detection, ACC and Lane assist.

Hi all What speed rating of tyre are people using on their Superbs? Can you use a W rating or does it have to be a Y rating?

I have a six speed DSG in my Octavia, no problems at 225K. Just change the oil and filter every 40K.

Hi all I'm just about to change my car to a Superb MKII What engine would be recommended for taxi work, the PD140 or CR170? Most of my work is long runs with a small amount of local work, I do over 50,000 miles a year. Should I be concerned about the DPF at all? Thanks for your help in advance.

Thanks for all of the advice, it now seems to me that having front sensors would be beneficial, especially for nose to wall parking. Doh!! Back to looking for another car.

Hi all I'm about to buy an early Superb, I have found a decent Elegance but it does not have park assist only reversing sensors. I would like to know how many people actually use the park assist? Thanks for your help in advance.

Had this problem on my Octavia, the mechanic put a couple of self tapping screws in the housing. No more rattling after that. When I describe the sound to him he seemed to know the problem straight away, I thought it was much more of a serious problem because of how bad the rattle sounded.

Sorry to jump in on this thread, can I ask Paul 007, when you fitted your Bolero did it fit straight in and were there any problems with the rear connections, also did the Aux connection still work ok. Also did you have to alter the Canbus at all? thanks for any help.

Thanks for the info. The 2.0 140 TDi I referred was the 6 speed manual version. you were right to point out there is only a 1.9 or a 2.5 V6 engine size in auto. Supurbia, you said you Cab an auto 1.9, if you were to replace your Cab, would you go for another auto or manual gearbox, also if you have any other comments on the Superb as a Cab I would be grateful the hear.
