  1. Norwich City boxing gloves swing from the mirror I miss Norwich :(
  2. Yeah I've just been looking at the Toyo's,seem to have good reviews online. It's good to build up a picture from Briskoda as to what everyone's using cos the more popular choices usually seem to be well thought of.
  3. Thanks for the offer, I ended up ordering one off the internet. I've immigrated (lol) to Northern Ireland so everythings harder to get out here. That other website delivered to mainland only, the sea scares deliveries it seems. What tyres are most people running now,Eagles, Pilots, etc?? Going to start shopping about for the best prices ready to change them two at a time. Thanks
  4. I've a set of four Uniroyal rain sport 2's on my Fabia Vrs for a year now. Recently hit a pot hole and now have a nice bulge in the wall of the front left tyre. I'd read posts on here in the past about the availbility issues with the tyres and hoped that this was just a phase. I tried several local tyre places who said they could no longer get them, and alot of online retailers no longer had stock. Managed to find a supplier selling them for £87.90 with free delivery. Is this the way it's going to be now, hunting for stockists which become harder and harder to find. With that in mind I like to have matched tyres on my car so where do I go from hear in the future, Michelin pilot sports are pricey, toyo proxes 4 ?? Anyone got any good tyre suggestions, for 205/45/16 ??
  5. California scents all the way... Some good multi buys on ebay if you want an overkill or to stock up. It's always nice to know you have 40 sat in the garage
  6. I recently changed mine, took about an hour due to it being tricky to get your fingers in but foloowed the guide on here and didn't have a problem. Think I paid about £20 for a resistor off of ebay.
  7. Mines got a jabba remap on it and it doesn't smoke
  8. I got the OEM dog guard off flea bay for about £12. Keeps the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in the boot, and gives him somewhere to put he's paws so he can look out.
  9. Just incase anyone else from Northern Ireland is in the same boat as I was in looking for a decent place to take their Fabia. Living in Northern Ireland I wasn't hearing about anywhere special both for servicing or remapping, so I decided on a ferry journey across to visit Bedrock Veedubs in Motherwell. All I can say is that i'm very pleased with the work carried out there, timing belt and water pump change, 40k service, and Jabba remap. My car was road tested before and after the servicing and I was impressed at the level of detail of the inspection, which makes a change from some gargages changing the filters and sending you on your way. With all the pampering out the way it was time to add a Jabba remap and a set of uniroyal rainsport 2's. And what can I say, i'm very impressed with the remap and liking the new tyres!!
  10. Hi there, £130 for a set on fleabay at the moment. You might be able to get them cheaper if you have the time to search the internet
  11. fairzo, My Silver 05 21k VRS was up for £6995 at a skoda dealers, they then had it advertised online for £6495 as a xmas sale. However when I went to view it the price on the forecourt was £6795. I knocked it down to £6100.
