  1. i have managed to scan a picture of the special edition octavia VRS out of the current brochure limited edtion vrs octavia.pdf
  2. Hi, you will love the fabia and if you dont keep it you will exchange it for a new one. i think i have won the battle of the youngest 19 (15/02/1989)
  3. No the limited edition is completely different to the RS+ and looks a hell of a lot better and is only avaliable in Anthracite Grey
  4. its not the octavia shown in the link you just gave. it has just come out it in the new octavia brochure. 2.0TFSI starts at £18'705 2.0TDI CR Starts at £19'575 and the estate is only in diesel at a starting price of £20450 this is the first we have heard of it and i am a sales man in a skoda dealer so we are quite shocked but it looks gorgeous and hopefull we can get one in as a demo and i will bring it to a meet. it is not avaliable to order until the 1st Jan but that could just be that they have not up dated our system due to people at skoda UK being off for christmas. The limited edition Octavia is very much like what they did with the fabia. i have no pictures that i am able to get on here yet as i only have the brochure and the pictures that are in there but when i find some thing i will post it on here. Unfortunately the Fabia VRS will definately not be coming out until 2010 due to the fact that they are doing a face lift then and would cost way to much to do it before which is a shame as i will be purachsing one for the other half (as i have a company car) the minute it comes out.
  5. Has any body heard of the new octavia VRS special Edition. i know that the VRS is not having the face lift and there has been talk of some very nice upgrades when they release it in the face lift version in just under a year but i work for a skoda dealer in devon and we have just had the new brochures for the face lift octavia and there is a gorgeous looking limited edition in Anthracite Grey metallic with 18" multi spokes, full leather with red stitching, maxi dot trip computer and the number of the vehicle embroided into the leather and we have heard nothing of this until now but as we have found in the past and this site proves it more than anything, the public seem to find everything out before us. Its the same sort of thing that they did with the fabia but this time they are only making 500 Cheers Joe
  6. Exeter services is always a good one as there is loads of space and you got fuel and food there
  7. Ideal it sounds like a plan but like you said lets wait till it warms up a bit or at least get christmas and that out the way
  8. Skoda auto along with the rest of the VAG group are among the few manufactures that has actually up'd their market share on last years figures and will definately be bringing out a face lift fabia in early-mid 2010
  9. The Fabia VRS sold very well in this country and still does and certainly holds its value well especially if you have a Special Edition. The new Fabia VRS was put off as it didnt sell aswel in the rest of Europe but they will be bringing it back in 2010 when they do a face lift as it is more cost effective. It will definately be having the 1.4TSI engine but the out put we do not know yet but have reason to believe that it will be up around the 170 mark but there is no talk of a diesel yet but thet could come later much like the Octavia.
  10. even if it was just once a month and we meet somewhere central eventually the word will get round and people will start coming
  11. hey that was me in the new skoda. i am out and about all the time. parts are not always cheap but you can garantee they are genuine. next time you come in, come and see me and i will sort you out some discount
  12. Hi just woundering if there is ever any meets in the torbay, plymouth or exeter area or do i have to travell??
  13. the park assist is good and will not bin you into the kerb as the lexus equialent did to bigin with but does need a good size space to work. hill hold once again is good but it all depends on you driving style. Luna alloys are not the best alloys, the standard wheels look alot better in the flesh. where are you purchasing the car from???have they offered you a good deal???are you perpared to travell for a better deal??? we have a couple of cars at work in the cappucino beige and it is a nice colour but im not too keen on it being with the ivory interior. i will take a picture and post in the next couple of days and yes the sat nav plays CDs and DVDs and the first time you put the sat nav disc in, let it down load and you will not need to use it again.
  14. Face lift VRS octavia is planned to come out in september 2009 to include red leather recaros, black wheels and carbon fibre spliters on front and back bumpers but nothing confirm yet. will keep you posted.
  15. Hi all Just joined. I work for Murray Skoda in Newton Abbot. Just want to let you know that we are only a phone call/email away for any sales/service advise. I am interested in joining any meets and participating in any events. If there is any vehicle that you are interested in purchasing and want to have a closer look or are just generally interested, give me a shout and i will try and arrange for me to bring it along. (dont worry, when the fabia VRS comes out i will be the first to bring one out to show you) This could work for all parties, we are always willing to do a good deal (especially if you are a member of BRISKODA) Joe
