  1. ap seem reasonable, less than 400 i think, awesome gti in manchester sell them. if im keeping mine i think il go for the weitecs which are about 470 iirc
  2. I own a vRS and i work for honda and have driven about 3 type r's ive been in the honda scene for about 2 years (my last car was a civic ek) and tbh if i was getting another honda it would be an integra dc2/dc5. the civic type r is a good car but has become less of an enthusiasts car, everyone has them, no lsd, the fabia is a much easier car to drive quick. the civics lack of torque can be annoying, but they are made to be revved and are more fun to drive when your in the mood. The fabia can be a good little 'sleeper' at times but if you've got the extra fuel and insurance money, go for the CTR! Two different cars, two different leagues.
  3. i know what you mean, they dont feel fantastic but there not bad at all. a lot upgrade to the audi tt quatro brakes, i may be tempted soon myself
  4. handling wise you WONT even be close! the 182s are brilliant round the twisties, my standard vrs puts up a good fight in a straight line against my mates 172 so remapped should have an edge on one id say. The old clio williams are about the same as a 182.
  5. when you fill up, the computer automatically thinks your going to be doing 50mpg, around town its just not going to happen, i average about 35-37mpg, most of thats fun driving as i live close to work, dont go on motorways a lot and dont really care about fueling up. My mates civic vti cant keep up with me, when there singing at 8.5k rpm there probably doing 20mpg, so stop worrying and enjoy having a comfy, quiet, quick, economical lil car:)
  6. looks very nice! is it loud? how much was it if you dont mind me asking?

  8. well the cat is the most restrictive part so yeah a decat on a standard exhaust will make more difference. i upgraded both the manifold and the decat before the catback on my civic and the difference was unreal, catbacks are really just for sound n looks.
  9. Looks very nice that mate! the bonding will last a long time on the bumpers i would of thought, not like pug 106 gti etc where the arches just peel off, if there sorting it out for you i wouldnt worry!
  10. id imagine my vrs to sound pretty dreadful with no backbox on? or is the mid section so baffled up that its not too loud?
  11. count me in for a front strut brace! been meaning to get one of these.
  12. i know which size im going for next:) look better, more tyre on the road and 100 quid cheaper than 205/40 for a full set
  13. i really want the weitecs, have heard good things about them but dont want to be dissapointed when its as low as it will go and i want to go lower!
