I'm trying to keep cost down to a minimum, so the wheels are gonna stay for the moment, though I was thinking of getting rid of the rubbings strips. Obviously the back bumper had to go when changing the engine over and I really like her without the back bumper on - but not convinced that this is a sensible thing to do given she's gonna be rallied!!! :eek::eek: Also, would have to have the front bumper off too if I did that, and I wanna keep that cos of the lights on the front....

Isn't there a check that you can have done to see the car's history including crash damage? Can't think for the life of me what it's called... Then again, that would only work if it was something declared on the insurance, and if it was a cheap fix i guess it wouldn't have.... On second thoughts, i think the check that i'm thinking of might be to see if the car had been stolen at some point...

If it is a vRS fixed on the cheap and the crash damage wasn't anything too serious (ie just needed a new bumper), would it be worth a looksy at that price? (If that was a stupid suggestion, please blame the fact that I'm a girl, lol!!)
