  1. Thank you members for all the responses. I was eventually able to remove the glove box and found that the fuse for the 12V sockets was missing. Unfortunately, unlike other cars I have owned there were no spare fuses included with the car and I had to travel thirty kilometers to a motor parts supplier to buy the required fuse. Whilst I like my Skoda, I do not like that the glove box has to be removed to access the fuse box. I could not imagine replacing a fuse at the side of a dark country road when heavy rain was falling and when your car is carrying four passengers. Skoda can do better than this!
  2. I have an adapter that I use in my car to allow me to recharge my iphone and Samsung tablet while I am driving my 2016 Skoda Scout. The adapter stopped working so I checked to see if there was voltage at the 12Volt socket between the front seats. There was no voltage so I assumed the fuse could be blown. I checked the Owner's Manual which indicated fuse no 40 was the relevant fuse. I then tried to access the fusebox which is apparently behind the glovebox. I tried and tried to remove the glove box without success and was left wondering why Skoda made it so difficult to access the fuse box. I have owned numerous cars in my lifetime but none of them were as difficult to access the fuse box as this car. If any owner can advise me how to easily remove the glovebox I would really appreciate it. Of course, I could pay a Skoda agent to replace the defective fuse but I don't feel like paying a lot of money for what should be a simple task.
  3. Thank you wg100 for your response. I have now enabled all the doors to open when I press the remote unlock button which is what I want. This is very easy to do when you know how! I have owned the car for three years and I am still learning the basic settings. O' for the simplicity of a 1957 Volkswagen Beatle which I owned fifty four years ago!
  4. When my vehicle is locked and I open the drivers door with the remote it does not also open the passengers front door and the passenger's doors. Is there a setting that I can change whereby all the doors unlock together? Thanks for any advice offered.
